The Pyramids Of Giza
Giza Plateau – the iconic site of the pyramids. Great Pyramid of Khufu (Cheops) – the largest and oldest pyramid. Pyramid of Khafre (Chephren) – with part of its original casing still visible. Pyramid of Menkaure – the smallest of the three main pyramids. The Great Sphinx of Giza – the legendary statue guarding the pyramids. Valley Temple of Khafre – ancient mummification temple next to the Sphinx. Panoramic Viewpoint – the best spot for photos of all pyramids together. 5.00Great day. Moustafa Ortega was very knowledgeable and pitched his explanations at just the right level to give us a very good understanding of the history of Egypt and the Pyramids. He made sure everything was organised well, including the driver, tickets, camels and food. He was clearly well known in the Pyramids area and this helped smooth things. He took us to a shop, but there was not any pressure to buy and it was quick. Moustafa is very fun and he gave a memorable day. I would recommend the trip.
