I love to travel and share my experiences with my family and friends by experiencing what our wonderful world has to offer together. Yes, I have a multicultural and international background so I am known as being very adaptable. Do check out my reviews. Hope we shall meet soon!

During our 7 days we will hike Armenian mountains, enjoy the local food and get familiar with the Armenian historical and religious monuments, ancient culture and national cuisine. We will visit memorials, markets, temples, monasteries and many more to learn about the history. Driving to very south we want to take the longest reversible cable car in the world which will bring us to 9th century Tatev monastery(about 12 minutes ride).

Zvartnots International Airport is located near Zvartnots, 15 km west of Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia. It acts as the main international airport of Armenia and is Yerevan's main international transport hub.

Republic Square

We set off to explore, and we begin our walk from beautiful Republic Square through the city center and up the strikingly modern Cascades for views of Biblical Mount Ararat. During our walk we discover the ancient culture of Yerevan, the city which‌, despite numerous invasion‌, hasn't lost its unique traditions. Walking along Pushkin street we visit old backyards which date back to 19th century and discover old wineries and dental clinics there. During our walk we are also getting acquainted with Armenian History; Architecture; Geopolitics; Economy; Geography; Traditions; Religion History; etc.).

Visit Statue of Garegin Nzhdeh(Armenian national hero) so we will talk here geopolitical situation of Armenia and will get acquainted to important historical facts connected to Armenia starting from 16th century; walk in Cultural Genocide park(Khachkars also know as Armenian cross-stones); Metro station Republic Square(discovering Armenian metro)

Dalan Art Gallery

Walk in Abovyan street(the oldest street in Yerevan built 1856) we will stop to see and talk about old houses and buildings from 19th century which were used as profitable houses for rich Armenian merchants for example we will see the building of richest Armenian merchant Egor Khanzadyan built 1895. We will visit Dalan art Gallery's hidden backyard which has a set up for jazz concerts and open air vine roofs. We will try sea buckthorn juice which have been used over centuries as food, traditional medicine, and skin treatment in China, Russia, and northern Europe.

Charles Aznavour Square

In this beautiful square we will see the oldest hotel in Yerevan "Grand hotel Yerevan" which was opened in 1926, during the Soviet period(the hotel facade is richly decorated with black Armenian tuff stone).

The Armenian National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet named after Alexander Spendiaryan

Visit Swan Lake and Opera House. The ground-breaking of the Opera-Theatre took place on 28 November 1930 during the celebrations of the 10th anniversary of Soviet Armenia. On January 20, 1933, the building was officially opened.

Cafesjian Center For The Arts

The Cascade is a giant stairway made of limestone in Yerevan, Armenia. It links the downtown Kentron area of Yerevan with the Monument neighborhood. The construction of the cascade started in 1971 and was partially completed in 1980.

Etchmiadzin Cathedral is the mother church of the Armenian Apostolic Church, located in the city of Vagharshapat. According to most scholars it was the first cathedral built in ancient Armenia, and is often considered the oldest cathedral in the world.

Garni

Hike from Garni village to Garni temple(distance - 4km; duration 2-3 hours) The trail will take us to pass the “Symphony of Stones,” a natural monument made up of well-preserved hexagonal and pentagonal basalt columns. Near these stones we will notice an 11th-century medieval bridge. We continue our hike through the Azat River Gorge and admire the striking beauty of the geological formations on either side. We will end your hike at Garni temple.

Khor Virap

The monastery is surrounded by green pasture lands and vineyards within the Ararat plain and is in view of Mount Ararat. The Arax (or Arakas) River flows close by, and the monastery is across from Aralık, Turkey.

Gnishik

Gnishik village is home to only a small handful of families, whose total is barely over 15. Trail leads down into a beautiful gorge, winding like a snake along the river, leading to an ancient monastery. We might see a bezoar ibex (goats), badgers, sky soaring vultures and eagles.

Old Khndzoresk

Khndzoresk Bridge is one of the most interesting attractions Syunik province. The 160-meter long bridge weighting 14 tons connects the two banks of the village, the so-called Old and New Khndzoresk. Old Khndzoresk is famous as a cave settlement, where the village is located on both slopes of the mountain and inhabitant have used natural and artificial caves on those slopes as dwellings. An interesting fact is that the area used to be inhabited till the middle of the 20th century, and the New Khndzoresk was built in the 1950s.

Zorats Church

We walk in Yeghegis village for about 2 hours in total towards the church of St. Stepanos or Zorats (of the Army), is considered a fine relic of medieval Armenia. Its name comes allegedly from the custom of consecrating arms and horses there before battle.

Yeghegis Jewish Cemetery

Walk to Jewish cemetery which before belonged to the Jewish community which lived in Yeghegis in the 13th-14th centuries. No other historical evidence for the existence of this community is known, nor of contemporaneous Jewish communities in Armenia. About 40 tombstones survived in the cemetery and about another 30 were found nearby. 10 tombstones bear inscriptions in Hebrew or Aramaic.

Orbelian's Caravanserai also known as Selim Caravanserai is a caravanserai in the Vayots Dzor Province of Armenia. It was built along the Vardenyats Mountain Pass in 1332, by prince Chesar Orbelian to accommodate weary travelers and their animals as they crossed from, or into, the mountainous Vayots Dzor region.

Monastery Sevanavank

Initially the monastery was built at the southern shore of a small island. After the artificial draining of Lake Sevan, which started in the era of Joseph Stalin, the water level fell about 20 metres, and the island transformed into a peninsula. At the southern shore of this newly created peninsula, a guesthouse of the Armenian Writers' Union was built.

This track goes from Monastery of Goshavank to Parz Lich, a very nice walk through the forest of Dilijan National Park. Path starts in Goshavank and goes up to some unexpected mountain’s fields. The way from here to Parz Lich is always under beeches trees (fagus). Itinerary ends at Parz Lich.
