Do not take this excursion!! I can’t stress how rude these people are. Within a week of our trip, they contacted us wanting to change the times of pickup and departure. This did not work for us. We tried to tell them we needed to be back sooner and we were yelled at and told we would be refunded. Surprise, that was a lie. I filed for the refund and it was declined. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THESE PEOPLE !!

The winds were very strong on our return trip and the captain only told that where we were sitting was going to get us a little wet there was no warning about the safety of the seats that had cushions and where meant to sit on. We ended up hitting a large wave while the boat tipped and flew off the seats even though we were holding on. My leg was largely bruised, one friend has broken foot and the last cut her foot on a drain so badly she received 8 stiches. To top it off the “free” transport ended up not being free even though we planned to take our own transport back the captain told us to get into a cab they had there. We figured he would at least pay for the trip back to our cruise ship especially since the transport was advertised as free but unfortunately we where wrong and chased down by the cab driver and told “nothing is free”. While the captain and first mate gave us bandages they were slow to come get us when we where thrown from the seat, a fellow passenger had to slide across the boat and pull us to safety before we fell into the rough water. Overall the conditions were unsafe and we would have rather had a canceled excursion and be a little disappointed than be so injured it ruined our whole trip. If conditions seem windy I would cancel because the captain clearly did not take our safety into account before departing the port.

The water was beautiful and the crew members were nice enough. However, the weather conditions were not safe. This is advertised as a yacht, but it is a sail boat. Lunch was served and that was good. Throughout the entire trip, the water was rough and it was very windy, causing the boat to tip almost on its side the entire time. Because of this and the wet slippery ground, my friends and I fell off of our seats and slammed into the fence, almost going into the water. My friend had to get 8 stitches as her foot was cut open by a drain on the boat. My foot is swollen and I cannot walk on it. My other friends shin is bruised and hard. After this happened, another passanger helped all of us to the back of the boat where the captain was. The first mate even said that we needed to get to the back because “it is not safe out here.” I wrapped my feiends foot with a towel to stop the bleeding. And then, despite this tour including “free transportation” we had to pay 20 euros to go back to our cruise ship. All around, reserve at your own risk. I wish we never went because it ruined our entire vacation.

This was the best day on the water with the added bonus of getting to explore Delos. The lunch was delicious and the ride was an adventure. Highly recommend!

Please be aware. If you are booking this activity on a cruise ship, there is a distinct possibility that the cruise ship will not be able to make into the port of Mykonos due to high winds, weather etc. If this happens to you, as it did with us on the Voyager of the Seas, you will receive a letter from the excursion company telling you that they had approval to sail; basically 'tough luck' because you are within the 24-hour window and so there is no refund. Viator themselves will give you the same answer and to contact the excursion company, there is nothing they can/will do to assist in your misfortune. If you are like us and traveling with a party of 7, you'll be out over a thousand euros. I was offered a voucher from the excursion company to take the cruise at a later date, but it had to be the exact, named members of the original party (no more, no less). Insult to injury, as the captain tells you that they are not going to make it into port, they are very quick to let you know that all excursions booked through Royal Carribean will be fully refunded, no questions asked. My advice - unless you have control of the weather, book through the cruise because it's worth the few extra euro.
