This is a great experience of a lush green and unique semi-tropical ecosystem found in only 2% of the planet, the cloud forest. Located close to the capital city of Quito, yet very different, an amazing drive with a stop on the way to observe and feed humming birds, and see tmany colorful birds before getting to Mindo cloud forest, to then venture out and start the different activities as the Cable car ride, a nice hike to the river waterfalls, visit the butterflies farm to learn and observe the wonderful life cycle of butterflies as the blue morph, enjoy a great local Lunch (eat at an Ecuadorian restaurant), and last, the chocolate or coffee tour and tasting, among other options as zip lining or tubing.

Our first stop will be in San Tadeo Birding, located about 15 minutes before Mindos town, her eyou will be delighted by all the different colorful birds you will be able to observe specially tanagers, humming birds and possibly other species as toucans or toucanets,
Mindo Nambillo Cloud Forest Reserve
Here you will experience a cable car ride above the forest and across the river to enter the hiking paths to the different waterfalls in this reserve, where you will experience the beauty of the cloud forest its rivers an its semitropical forest that has a lot to offer as plants, insects, amphibians that may show up along the hike.

We learned and saw so much about local customs, food, birds... A wonderful experience for every recommendation. One of the most beautiful trips in life.
