Small Group Tour: 1: This tour is set to leave at 7:30 a.m. on the tour day, though the exact time depends on the actual pick-up schedule. 2: The sequence of pick-ups will be decided according to the number of guests and the distribution of their hotels on the tour day, and will be confirmed the day before departure. 3: To make sure you get the correct details about your pick-up time and location, please be sure to check the email we sent you one day prior to departure. If you don’t receive the email or have any inquiries, we suggest reaching out to us immediately to verify the information and prevent missing the tour. 4: Please arrive at your designated pick-up spot on time as per the confirmed schedule. For guests who are late by more than 10 minutes, we won’t be able to wait, and these guests will be recorded as "No Show".

5.00It was a great private tour experience on this trip to both the Great Wall and the Summer Palace. Our tour guide May was the best as she provided so many great details and stories for both locations throughout the day to further the experience. So convenient with all transportation, tickets, and lunch arranged ahead of time, so no waiting in any lines. This was especially key as when we departed the Great Wall after our visit, the entrance was packed with so many people waiting to get in! Highly recommended May and the team for the next trip to Beijing!

5.00We had a great experience with our guide Andy. We had 8 people in our group (5 adults, 3 kids), and Andy did a great job of balancing structure and information with flexibility and freedom. We prioritized the most important aspects for our family, and everyone (including my kids and niece) learned quite a bit while also having fun. A comment on crowds: this was my second time to the Great Wall. We went once in February when it was very cold, but also zero crowds. This time in April, which was a beautiful weather day, was much busier but still manageable. We had some waiting time, but once we were on the wall, it did not seem that crowded. We waited about an hour for the toboggan ride down. We also chose a later start time, so we knew it would be more crowded…but I was pleasantly surprised there were not MORE crowds. Overall, it was a great experience. I also want to make a comment on communication prior to the tour. I reached out via the Viator app several times to ask some clarifying questions for our private tour, and also tried messaging on social media, but did not receive a response. I had to call Viator directly and involve them to get the company to respond to me. Once they did respond it was fine, just a bit slow to start. It was not a big enough deal to reduce my rating, and our actual tour was great, but sharing my experience for others to be aware of. Side note: We left a watch on the bus, and the driver was able to find it and return it to our hotel the next day. Great service that went “above and beyond”. Overall, I would definitely recommend this tour to others and I would work with this company again.

5.00Sophie was full of history and detailed information on the history of Beijing, the dynasties, and the Great Wall of China. She has a very kind and sunny personality, and couldn't have been more helpful on our day with her. The driver should get a mention also for being great! I would highly recommend this tour, it's a great way to see 2 of the most important sites in Beijing.

5.00Mia was an exceptional guide. Her English was perfect and her passion about her country and it's history was informative and moving. We are a cultural mix of 4 retired people so we choose the privite experience . From the moment we met Mia we knew this was the right choice. She was on time for our pick up. As it was late to get to the wall, we changed the itinerary during our drive and went to hike the wall at 2pm rather than 10 am. This worked out perfectly as there were little wait times and not too many tourists at 2 pm. Although lunch was included in the tour package we decided to skip it and were treated to additional site seeing. We not only had a great time with a well prepared guide, we all felt that we made a new friend. We sincerely thank Mia and Trip Advisor for this wonderful day that we will remember forever!! 5.00First time in Beijing, total of 7 of us, which included 2 young kids. We had so much fun! Ranee, our tour guide was knowledgeable, Professional, and so accommodating. We will definitely be finding Ranee again when we return to Beijing! And I can’t forget the driver- he was great as well. Absolutely wonderful experience!!

5.00We have just completed this tour today and can highly recommend it. We are a couple from Australia. Our tour guide Sherry was lovely and has a big heart for her country and she was both professional but friendly and very informative and we enjoyed her time. Our driver Zhang was also professional and friendly. We were very blessed as it snowed at The Great Wall so our experience was magical. We had a very plentiful lunch of good quality food and a wonderful walk of The Summer Palace too, ending with a cultural show of acrobatics. Sherry was a very educational guide and adapted to our needs and it resulted in a truly wonderful day. Ask for Sherry when booking, we recommend her highly. Thank you ❤️
