Join our exclusive Oktoberfest tour with a small group for a truly unforgettable experience of Bavarian culture!
Our tour has a max of 8 customers and includes:
-a guide clad in traditional clothing (Lederhosen or Dirndl),
-a Bavarian Weisswurst Frühstuck (Traditional Breakfast) at a local beer hall or other breakfast option
-short downtown beer history tour in Munich after breakfast
-public transport tickets
-private guided brewery tour for 40 minutes with homemade Oktoberfest beer
-history and traditions of the Oktoberfest
-Oktoberfest table reservations from 12pm for at least 4 hours,
-Traditional Brotzeitteller (meats, cheese and bread snack platter)
-3 Mass beer (Liters!)
-large meal and dessert included
-guided etiquette to ordering beer, food, festival rides and attractions, and beer drinking songs
-tips and tricks to the secrets of Oktoberfest (the locals' insights)

What To Expect
Our guide will meet you on Munich's historic Marienplatz square at 9am for history and a short walk to a local beer hall for a traditional breakfast.
We will take you on public transit just 2 stops to a local brewery from 1889. Here you receive a private brewery tour with homemade Oktoberfest beer fresh on tap.

5.00Levi and Sierra are the best tour guides you could ask for. In every new city we visited, they were prepared with activities for us to do, places to eat, and suggestions for us if we wanted to explore on our own. I would take another tour with the Thirsty Historian in a heartbeat, and I plan to very soon.

5.00Levi was absolutely phenomenal. He knows pretty much everything there is to know about Munich, Germany, and was so fun to follow along. We were also fortunate enough to get to travel with him and his wife, and they both truly made the trip so much better. Such kind and generous people!! Best trip I have ever been on!

5.00truly a life-changing experience, and Levi and Cierra (the thirsty historian) made my trip one I will never forget. They made sure that we had the best [possible experience. They worked around the clock to make it a seamless, worry-free trip. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone who is traveling to Munich (or the surrounding areas). I truly do not have the words to express my gratitude and awe for the experience they created for my friends and me. I would book another trip with them in a second!!!!

They offer in depth guides that are personalized to whatever your group wants to see. if they believe that they do not know enough about a certain place or the culture of it they will work with you to find another local tour guide to compensate. They are super professional and an absolute joy to spend a trip with. My trip was most certainly better due to them and I couldn't imagine it without them! Very friendly and wonderful people; I can't recommend enough! 10/10

5.00This was the BEST tour possible!! Truly surpassed every expectation and an experience I wish everyone could have! Levi was informative and fun at every stop we took. We travelled with them for 2 weeks across Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands as a group of 27. Best experience ever, would 100000% reccomend!

5.00A friend connected us to John when we were heading to Oktoberfest. John turned out to be the ultimate hook up! We were able to get connected with a super fun group at a table reservation in a couple of the premier tents. Could not have gone better!

5.00Levi is absolutely amazing!🍺🍺 Our group was initially scheduled for 2020 but COVID shut Europe down. Levi honored our initial deposit in total (unlike Lufthansa). He organized our trip to include the places we wanted to visit and added others that were fantastic. If you like German and Czech beer, the Thirsty Historian is your guide. Prosit to a fellow Badger🍺
