  I went as a female on two solo Treks, Langtang Valley & Mardi Himal.. The conversation with Puru from the company above the Himalaya Trek was very quick and informative. Everything went very good. Sitaram is a really professional one. I felt very safe and well known guided. Also Ram, the porter was very helpful and kind 🙏 We were really lucky with the weather and all the highlights like view Point sunrises and hotsprings.   Me and my friend had an unforgettable adventure trip in Nepal, especially around Pokhara, thanks to the excellent service from Above The Himalaya Trekking. When I was planning my trip to Nepal, one of my friends recommended this tour agency because she had previously solo trekked with them to Annapurna Base Camp. From the very first contact, Mr. Puru, who manages the company, communicated promptly and clearly (he replied quickly via WhatsApp), which made the planning process easy and stress-free. We completed a 3-day soft trek from Pokhara to Ghandruk and Dhampus, along with city tours around Pokhara and Kathmandu. Our guides, porter, and drivers were friendly, patient, and always ready to help. They made sure we were comfortable and able to fully enjoy every moment of this adventure trip. The itinerary was flexible, and the team quickly assisted whenever we had requests or needed adjustments. This trip helped me complete several bucket-list experiences, including unforgettable memories from the World’s 2nd Highest Bungy Jump and the World’s Highest & Longest Sky Cycle and Mega Troll at The Cliff Nepal, as well as Paragliding. It became one of the most memorable journeys I’ve ever had. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable and professional tour agency in Nepal.   We had a great time with Above the Himalayas tour company in Oct. Ajay, the tour guide in Kathmandu is very friendly and knowledgeable. He took us to a lot of places that we can experience local authentic daily life. Puru, the owner, arranged and organized our trip in such way that we really feel comfortable and enjoyable. We are specially impressed by his quick action and management skills. Our flight to Pokhara got cancelled due to bed weather. Within minutes, Puru was able to arrange a car and a driver to drive us to Pokhara! It saved out trip.

  Mr Puruji has once again delivered an unforgettable experience for my family when he arranged detailed tours of famous landmarks, namely, the Pashupathi Nath Temple, Souyambu Nath Temple, and Budhanilkanta Temple. Mr Puruji also organised a day tour of the UNESCO Heritage listed old city of Bhaktapur, on a day when we faced big difficulties with transport due to a major Taxi strike. Mr Puruji has once again proven to be an extremely resourceful, reliable & effective tour operator. He also kindly arranged late check out at our comfortable hotel accommodation, so that we could make it to our midnight flight home. Thanks Mr Puruji for taking good care of our tourist experience, and we look forward to returning to beautiful Nepal.

  We have just completed our Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, and it was truly the trip of a lifetime. This wasn’t just a tour — it was a spiritual journey filled with powerful emotions, unforgettable moments, and deep inner peace. The yatra is not a leisurely vacation. We did face a few challenges due to the high altitude, but every step, every effort, was completely worth it. One of the most joyful and memorable moments was when our group played Garba at the sacred Mansarovar Lake — a rare and beautiful expression of devotion, unity, and celebration under the open Himalayan sky. A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Purushotam (Mr. Puru), Mr. Pimpa, and the entire team at Above The Himalaya Trekking. They handled everything with outstanding care and professionalism. The team was especially helpful to those who needed extra support in the high-altitude conditions — always attentive, kind, and ready to assist. Mr. Puru personally guided us through local shopping, temple visits, and even managed all the necessary arrangements for airport transfers, local sightseeing, and shopping in the city. Thanks to him, everything was perfectly organized, and we felt completely taken care of from start to finish. Our guide and driver were also fantastic — always supportive — and their knowledge and calm presence made the entire journey smooth and safe. We are deeply grateful to Above The Himalaya Trekking for making this sacred yatra not only possible but deeply meaningful and joyous.   Me and my wife ( from CALIFORNIA, US), had a fantastic experience with the group organized by Above the Himalayan Trekking (Puru) for the Mt Kailash and Manasarovar Yatra. Puru is extremely professional and tries his best to make the trip more luxurious by proving the best hotels wherever possible. The overall experience has been fantastic. He is reachable and answers all the Questions the yatris and their families may have. Every operator focuses on few aspects of the trip. Above Himalayan was focussing on providing the best stay experience all along.with great hospitality. He collaborated with Pempa, one of the best tourist guides in Tibet who is very experienced and extremely knowledgeable. Pempa's connections in tibet were commendable, be it in arranging the Ponies, porters, Ambulances when needed. Overall, best experience with Puru and his team. Strongly recommend everybody, try talking to them before choosing an operator for Mt Kailash and Mansarovar.

  Our guides on our trip were very friendly and knowledgeable. We only spent a few days in Nepal but we managed to see and experience a lot. My mom is a little older and wanted to hike, our guides were able to find the perfect hike for us that was easily manageable for her. I would highly recommend Above the Himalaya, especially if you plan on bringing your family.

  We recently completed a 12-day Annapurna Base Camp trek with Above the Himalaya Trekking during our 18-day adventure in Nepal, and it was an exceptional experience! This was our second journey with them, and once again, they exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Suresh, was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, ensuring our safety and comfort throughout the trek. The company's dedication to trust and security is unmatched, providing us with reliable guides and porters, as well as comfortable hotel accommodations. They also organized fantastic city tours that enriched our cultural experience.
