  Absolutely wonderful, a fabulous experience, visiting villages that seem to have come out of a story. It is worth doing this route without question.

  Our guide Thierry shared many stories and history about the Alsace region. He drove us to colmar first where he took us through the town and gave us 1.5 hrs to explore. Colmar was every bit as charming and storybook like you would imagine. Then we made a pit stop on some scenic route to view the valley and wine country. Did a small pit stop at turkheim, which was a bit underwhelming. Most things were closed and few stalls in a very small area. Lastly we drove to obernai Christmas market which was a little gem and we truly loved the whole experience. Overall, it was nice to be dropped off and picked up and not have to worry about figuring out transportation and where to go.

  Very enjoyable one day trip to visit smaller Christmas markets in Alsace, outside of the main and larger Strasbourg one. You will always visit Colmar (which is really nice) but for the other one or two markets, each trip is different as some markets only open on weekends and others are all week long. The more you can walk (on cobblestone), the more you will see. But you can see plenty regardless. The tour guide Magalie (Maggie) was extremely helpful. The only downside of the day trip is not seeing the lights up at night...

  Getting a chance to see Colmar and Selestat was a great experience. It was a such a homely and quaint environment in both towns and the genuine passion for Christmas is addicting. Both towns were so idyllic and it was great seeing in person.

  So we went to two markets today and I was really disappointed with Colmar, but I was blown away by Ricquweir! It was charming. It was medieval. There was so much shopping to do. It was amazing. Met a nice group of women and Our tour guide was great.

  Visiting the Christmas markets in Alsace (Colmar & Riquewhir) was really spectacular. Everything went as planned. My only comment is that I expected a brief tour of the city of Colmar and Riquewhir before going to the markets.

  Our guide chose the perfect markets outside of Strasbourg to visit. I han't even heard of the little town/market we ended our day, and I'm quite sure it will be my favorite Xmas market of all visited while in Europe.

  We wanted to visit for the first time a Christmas market. We thought a local that could guide us was a great idea. We started in Colmar and we were given 1.5 to visit. We felt rushed since we found it to be a place we could spend time. We were taken for 3 hours to another town that turned out to be a complete waste of time and was not listed on the tour description. We would’ve been better off renting a car. This tour wasn’t worth our money or time.
