The plateau is the business district of Abidjan, nicknamed the "Ivorian Manhattan". But although it is the administrative and financial center of the country, it also has incredible but often overlooked tourist assets.

5.00Dorine was such a bliss. She speaks very little English to none but she gave us the best tour using google translate. She adapted easily to the language barrier and made it work. We truly enjoyed our experience with her. She arrived early for the tour as we found her waiting at the starting point which we loved. This review is done with appreciation from two South African women 🇿🇦

Bee and her team of experts made our trip of a lifetime a wonderful experience. From the moment of our arrival to our fond farewells Train & Travel created warm hearted memorable moments. Each day we were greeted by a happy smile and a welcoming greeting. Every day was a new adventure. The tour(s) were organized and well packaged. During the tour(s) we were introduced to people who generously shared their culture, language and history. Part of my ancestral roots are linked to Cote d'Ivoire. 5.00We want to thank you, Bénédicte, and I especially, want to thank you, for a wonderful tour. We learned a lot, saw a lot, and our admiration for your organization has now grown to a dozen onboard our cruise ship. I much appreciate your helping me to understand the benefit of including taxis before and afterward from/to the port. And your work organizing that was absolutely perfect. A suggestion for future tours would be to suggest folks wear long trousers to aid entrance to the mosque, though it didn't make a difference in the end yesterday. The stop for a chat and a drink was excellent. Your thoughtful communication with us via txt/Whatsapp regarding taxis was invaluable. Finally, as part of our self-guided walk after concluding your tour, the stairs to the cross at the cathedral were not open, perhaps due to it being Sunday. Which made your suggestion to visit the top floor bar of the Noom Hotel the absolute cherry on top of a great day in Abidjan. It's a smashing view and we enjoyed it thanks to you. Merci beaucoup.

5.00I did the administrative tour that focuses on the National library, governmental buildings, the cathedral, the museum of civilizations and the stadium. The guide Ange was great and she provided me great information about the history of the city and the different points we visited.

1.00We walked through the streets where traffic was heavy, passed by several important buildings but the only one the guide took us into was the catholic cathedral, which did have very impressive stained glass. Otherwise, we saw little that was memorable and the weather was horrible.
