Jabal AlFil (Elephant Rock)
Elephant Rock, a true icon of AlUla, rises 52 meters above the landscape. This remarkable rock formation, shaped from warm-hued sandstone, has been sculpted over millions of years by the forces of wind and water erosion. Known in Arabic as Jabal AlFil, the site is especially captivating at dusk, when the setting sun casts a deep crimson light over the trunk and body of this geological wonder, enhancing its majestic presence.
Rainbow Rock
Rainbow Rock derives its name from its distinctive shape, resembling an arch or a rainbow with two clouds. In close proximity to Rainbow Rock, visitors can explore other remarkable rock formations, including the Dancing Rocks. These two large rock pillars create the illusion of dancing together, adding to the allure of the site.

AlUla is a beautiful and wonderful city with amazing landmarks. Our guide was very knowledgeable and skilled in describing and explaining all the important points. We visited the old railway, watched the sunset from Elephant Rock, enjoyed seeing the Gharameel rock formations, and took photos as memories.

Our tour was FANTASTIC!!! We had a wonderful guide, Babir. He was knowledge, friendly and oh so appeasing. He made the trip super enjoyable. We loved each stop on the tour - Al Gharameel Rocks, Rainbow Bridge, Shlal Resort, Elephant Rock, and Old Town. Babir gave us extremely enlightening information about each site. In between sights we got good information on the Hejaz Railroad. Babir pointed out an old Railroad Station that was converted to a hotel and we saw a number of Railroad Posts. We especially enjoyed the Shlal Resort and Elephant Rock. Super day. Looking forward to to our next tour in Al Ula. Hopefully Babir will be the guide. Thank you.

We had an incredible day exploring AlUla with Bder as our tour guide! He arrived early and was well-prepared, ensuring we had a full day of adventure ahead. From the moment we started, Bder took us to the most stunning locations, perfect for sightseeing and capturing amazing photos. He was kind enough to take plenty of photos and videos for us throughout the day—and even made sure we had all of them before we left. Our journey included relaxing snack breaks, a stop at a cozy coffee shop, and a delicious chicken burger and chips from SALT while visiting Elephant Rock. Bder made sure we were comfortable the entire time, always checking that we had enough water, juice, and snacks. The vehicle was spacious and ideal for off-roading through the breathtaking national parks—it made the experience even more enjoyable. Bder was incredibly accommodating and flexible, always happy to take us wherever we wanted to go. We had so much fun and would highly recommend Bder to anyone visiting AlUla. A fantastic guide who truly made our day special!

This was a great and unforgettable Al-Ula Experience with our guide Bader We were picked up promptly as agreed upon and from start to finish, the tour experience with Bader was nothing short of extraordinary. He had deep knowledge of the place , its culture, and its hidden gems that transformed the tour into something truly magical. The landscapes and rock formations were breathtaking. Our tour guide Bader’s was detailed oriented and was very knowledgeable. He treated us with warmth and sincerity, making you feel like a welcomed guest rather than a tourist. The rainbow rock, the elephant rock, the Shlal Cafe and Old Al Ula City were amazing. But the highlight was the elephant rock especially after sunset. We drove 4 hour from Medina and it was well worth the drive. It wasn’t just a trip; it was an experience of a lifetime.
