What To Expect
Trieste Terminal Passeggeri
We will meet at the cruise terminal (or another preferred accommodation) and head directly to Ljubljana in a smooth- relaxing ride trough picturesque landscape of Slovenia. We aacept only up to 20 persons in group.
Ljubljana Old Town
As we arrive to Ljubljana you will be dropped off in the heart of the old town in the best starting location to explore this amazing green town on your own. You will have up to 2 hours of free time to see the towns most important buildings and monuments such as Ljubljana castle, Ljubljana Town Hall, the Triple Bridge, the Shoemakers Bridge, Ljubljana Cathedral, the Robba Fountain, Preseren Square, Congress Square and Ljubljanica river (where the feeling of the old town life is felt the most) and other attractions. You will also have enough time to do some shopping in the old town or just sit and have an nice glass of great Slovenian wine or a cup of coffee at the banks of Ljubljanica river.

5.00A delightful experience! Our tour guide was knowledgeable and truly excited to help us better know Trieste and Slovenia. She had keen insights to our areas and great tips and tricks to avoid crowds and make the most of our trip to lake bled. The tour bus was spacious and comfortable, stocked with water and adequate bathroom breaks. Highly recommend!!!

5.00My husband and I, had two days in Trieste and decided to book a one day trip to Lake Bled and Ljubljana. Beautiful and picturesque places. Our driver/guide was on time to pick us up, Kristjan was professional, friendly, very knowledgeable and an excellent driver. He made the trip one we will not forget. Slovenia is a beautiful country!

5.00I would definitely recommend Viator for day trips. We organized everything on line. It was very easy. My wife had some questions. She called and she talked to someone who was very helpful. Our driver Maurizio was right on time. He was very knowledgeable and a great tour guide. 5 star service.

5.00We went to Lake Bled, which is truly beautiful. We visited Bled Castle and the views from there were amazing. We also visited Ljubljana, a lovely city. Our guide, Goran was most helpful and well informed.

5.00Mia met us at the cruise ship terminal in Koper and to our surprise we had a private tour to Ljubljana and Lake Bled. If I had to pick between the two destinations I certainly would head straight to Lake Bled. Lake Bled is like a fairy tale setting...just beautiful. We had time to take the pletna boat to the island and follow the tradition of ringing the bell at the church and making a wish. Afterwards we enjoyed the Alpine beauty and sunshine while enjoying the traditional Bled Kremsnita cake. As we drove Mia explained the history and culture of her country pointing out landmarks and the breathtaking scenery along our route. Just a wonderful day!

3.00After reading dozens of outstanding reviews about Peter, and then having great correspondence with him myself, I was excited for our tour. We were a group of 10 so organised for a private tour of Lake Bled, Ljubljana and Koper for 9 hours. When we met at the port the driver was hard to find and another group had difficulty finding their driver too. It turns out it was the same company. We were then gathered and split into cars. Instead of a private tour, we formed a procession of cars (led by our driver) and visited each place together. Our driver spent much of the drives on the phone to other drivers teeing up the timings. He provided minimal information and never told us how long each drive would be. We wasted time in each place waiting for each group to be ready to leave. At the end, we missed seeing Koper because we ran out of time. We also arrived back half an hour after we were meant to. It wasn't a great experience and definitely wasn't the private tour we were promised.

2.00The tour lasted 8 1/2 hours. Our tour guy was not explaining anything. She was only answering questions. She was more a driver than a tour guide. She did not walk with us in the places. Take a taxi and save money next time, maybe Viator will take care of the bad service or Viator will have more than 4 disappointed customers.
