Day tour to the National Park outside of Rio

5.00Today my wife and I had the pleasure of doing a tour with Luis Darin to the Parque Nacional serra dos orgaos, which is outside of Rio. It is an area probably not frequented by most foreign tourists, which is part of its appeal. It is a rain-forest area, that in the mountains, and so cooler and not as humid as Rio. Luis was first class in every way, and we can thoroughly him as guide. His knowledge of Brazilian history and culture was very enlightening, and he also has a good knowledge of birds and general wildlife, which of particular interest to my wife, as she is a keen birder. If you choose to use the services of Luis, you won't be disappointed. Luis, if you are reading this, thanks again, and very well done!
