Unlike a standard taxi or van tour, I offer a 'Local Immersion Experience.' We won't just drive to Ambuluwawa; we will travel through scenic backroads, hidden villages, and lush paddy fields that big vehicles can't reach. You’ll feel the breeze, smell the fresh mountain air, and have the freedom to stop anytime for a perfect photo or a fresh King Coconut. It’s not just a ride; it’s your personal gateway to the heart of Sri Lanka.

Ambuluwawa Tower
Exploring its essence, Ambuluwawa unfolds as more than just the tower's name; it embodies the towering mountain, rising proudly at 3,567 feet. Perched atop this majestic mountain lies the Ambuluwawa Tower, offering a panoramic view from the highest point of Ambuluwawa Mountain. It's a harmonious blend where human craftsmanship meets the awe-inspiring beauty of nature.

We had an amazing two-day tuk-tuk tour with Mr. Priyantha and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Day 1: We traveled from Kandy to Lion’s Rock (Sigiriya) and the Dambulla Cave Temple. Both sites were absolutely worth the visit. Lion’s Rock is breathtaking, with stunning views at the top and fascinating ancient ruins along the way. Dambulla Cave Temple, with its beautifully preserved Buddha statues and wall paintings, offered a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere. Day 2: We visited the Ambuluwawa Tower, which was another highlight. The tower is unlike anything we’ve seen before — climbing it was thrilling, and the panoramic views from the top were incredible. Throughout both days, Mr. Priyantha was an excellent guide. He drove the tuk-tuk very safely and professionally, even on Sri Lanka’s hectic roads, so we always felt secure. He shared a lot of interesting stories about local life and culture, as well as the history behind the places we visited, which made the trip even more meaningful. He also recommended great local spots for lunch and kindly took us to local shops when we asked. The prices for the tours were very reasonable, and Mr. Priyantha himself is a genuinely kind, thoughtful, and engaging person. We honestly couldn’t have imagined a better guide or a more enjoyable way to explore the area. If you're considering a tuk-tuk tour in this region, don’t hesitate — reach out and see if it is available. You’ll be in great hands, and your trip will be both comfortable and unforgettable. Highly recommended!
