We'll discover the wine producers of the famous wine region of El Penedés, while driving my vintage Mehari, an antique convertible car from 1976.

I'll drive you to the most beautiful vineyards and family wineries of the region, where you'll meet the winegrowers and the family members of the cellars. A member of the family will explain the process of the wine and cava (champagne not from France) making.

We will visit two old wineries in the countryside and taste some premium wines or cavas with a snack at each winery.

While we're in the car, among the historical vineyards, I'll share the secrets, curiosities and peculiarities of the region with you.

Afterwards, we'll have time to chill in a grass area among the vineyards and old trees. I'll prepare a picnic of local products and other wines/cavas of the region (number of cups of cava/wine unlimited during the meal).

In winter, lunch will be inside a winery or in my garage bar.

The meal is always at the end of the tour.

This tour was incredible and we couldn't have had a better host with Neus. We visited two different wineries and at each winery, Neus gave us a detailed tour and explained how cava and all of the different wines are made. We tried many different cava, white, and red wines, served along with plenty of snacks. During the wine tastings, Neus allowed us to hang out and enjoy the breathtaking views. During the tours, Neus was deeply knowledgable, funny, and treated us like family. After the tours, Neus took us to a beautiful remote area, where she prepared an extensive picnic with delicious Spanish food including an amazing salad, a tortilla, a rice and beef dish, and desert. We finished the tour stuffed and blown away by the experience. Highly recommend not eating before this tour as Neus will make sure you're well-fed! We can't thank Neus enough for her hospitality and being a wonderful host and we very much look forward to returning to Penedés in the future.

There were too many wonderful things to choose a favourite. The experience from start to finish was superb. Everyone we met was passionate about their industry, the wine they produce, their culture and community. Beautifully executed and a real taste of what Spain has to offer. Topped off by a splendid picnic table lunch with beautiful food and local wine. Thank you Neus and James-a simply wonderful day

Neus was an amazing host. She did a fantastic job telling us about the area and coordinating on the train. The wineries she brought us to were small family run that produced really great high-quality wines. There were nothing I could recommend to elevate the experience as it was very pleasant from start to finish. This was one of our favorite wine tastings/tours ever!

A very nice experience. The team was very friendly, and the organization without a hitch. We were pleasantly surprised that the whole tour was done with passionate locals, wanting to highlight the know-how and traditions of their region (culture techniques without pesticides or irrigation system); and of course, we tasted wine of very good quality and accessible (we left with several bottles without breaking the bank). This ended up being a private tour for me and my 2 friends. What a pleasant way to spend a day and tour the wineries! We saw two wineries, met the owners, learned about the operations, and of course tasted the wines. The tour ended with a lovely lunch in the countryside. The tour guide was amazing - kind, accommodating and very knowledgeable herself about the area and the wine making process. Highly recommend.

An amazing experience! Neus was knowledgeable on wines and the local region. She was very organized, spoke great English and even helped us navigate the train. Loved that we were able to support smaller family run wineries and Cava makers. The picnic was a lovely touch!!

It is not just a route amongst vineyards, it is an incredible experience for all wine lovers or those who want to be initiated into the wine culture! The ride through the vineyards in a Mehari is a great way to see and feel the region and getting to know family-run wineries first hand and tasting their wines is a luxury. And the cherry on the cake is Neus, the creator and hostess of the experience. Charming and with a lot of experience and knowledge about wine, she made us enjoy every moment of the experience. I highly recommend this experience. Do not miss it!
Special, full of laughs, good company, good food and wine of course!

I cannot recommend this tour more. Neus is amazing, from start to finish she made our experience so intimate and special. From the wonderful cars we drove to the vineyards in to the incredible meal she prepared for us. It made our visit to Barcelona one to remember.
