Together, let’s take a bite of Amsterdam's best food including classic Dutch options that I have selected for you (Gouda Cheese, crispy Dutch fries, fried fish, herring, grilled cheese,, wonderful Apple Pie or pofertjes and the famous stroopwaffle!).
We are going to explore the city and fill our bellies with some amazing street food like real locals (with a real local!). We will also take a bite of Amsterdam's history with funny anecdotes while learning more about one of the most beautiful city in Europe! I will recount to you incredible stories about the Dutch culture and at the end, you will be like a real Dutch person, walking through the city, eating some great Dutch food and understanding the Dutch way of life!

5.00This food tour was one of the highlights of my time in Amsterdam. It was a group tour with people I didn’t know beforehand, but that honestly made it even more fun — it was great meeting and sharing food with people from all over the world. The food itself was really fun and interesting, with a nice mix of flavors and local spots I never would’ve found on my own. But the real star of the experience was our tour guide, Roman. He was absolutely out of this world — knowledgeable, funny, engaging, and genuinely passionate about the city and its food. Roman made everyone feel welcome and turned a great tour into an unforgettable one. I can’t recommend this experience enough

5.00Roman is incredibly engaging and has thought out the whole tour very well! I enjoyed everything we tried and actually made me wanna go back for a second helping of herring 😋 I also learned a lot about the city, which was an added plus. The only thing I’d change is to have the stroopwaffle made fresh, but it’s understandable since it’s hard to make a bunch fresh for a big group when there’s already a big line. Just go back and get seconds 😉

5.00It was a great mix of food, culture and history ..It did not seem like 3.5 hours..Very impressed that host knew all of our names within 10 minutes of our tour starting. He greeted each of us individually. I loved the hands on and attention to detail. Highly recommend!

5.00It is not just about the food, the tour itself is really made by the host. Roman was excellent and brought true French je ne sais quoi to the evening. The meals were exactly what we expected and well presented, and the experience was relaxed and engaging. The only small disappointment was that the stroopwafels were not made fresh and appeared to be pre-packaged, likely due to the time constraints and the size of the group. Other than that, it was a great way to spend the evening tasting local foods while learning some interesting history about Amsterdam. Thank you, Roman.

5.00My wife mainly went on the positive reviews for this tour and they were 100% spot on. Roman was perhaps the best tour guide we've had with the many tours we've had over the years. The tour setup itself was also fantastic, with the right mixture of foods and short breaks between, intermingled with history of the city. But Roman himself made the tour and thank you so much!

5.00Roman was amazing. So fun, informative and animated. He made a cold day warm with his enthusiasm, knowledge and great food stops. We hit the highlights of food, from frites to apple pie, with plenty of stops for historical perspective. It was really a great way to experience the city.
