For the most part, you can enjoy beautiful current day Amsterdam whilst you can listen to the audiotour (Dutch or English). At 7 locations you will put on your VR headset, which will show you your direct vicinity 400 years ago during the 17th century. Visitors get to see:

- The harbor with hundreds of ships
- An important shipyard where warships were built
- The outskirts of Amsterdam and the 5m high city wall

5.00Very nice experience. We had already looked into interesting stories from Amsterdam history. During this boat trip, some of these stories are visualized in a pleasant way. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I love to come back with other family members!

5.00Amazing - this is a PREMIUM canal experience - well worth it! Brings the past and present together through VR and you'll look at the canals with different eyes for the rest of your stay as history has come to life. Beautiful boat and brilliant crew - welcoming, funny and engaging. The unexpected drink was most welcome on a cold day - nice glass of red for me with a wide choice of your favourite alcoholic or non-alcoholic tipple. A great addition that really brings something extra to the otherwise bog-standard canal boats (and we tried one of those too ).

5.00Fantastic historical cruise with a twist. So much fun. The technology is amazing and our skipper and Crewe were charming and k knowledgeable. Excellent cheese and a decent red wine were available. Above all else my pooch was very welcome. Will do it again with other visitors.

Everything was perfectly organized: friendly staff, a comfortable boat and a super impressive virtual reality experience that takes you completely into another world.
