What To Expect

Amsterdam Canal Ring

First we’ll visit the old quarter of the Jordaan. See highlights like the Westertoren and the Anne Frank house, taste the original Amsterdam ‘bitterballen’. We’ll navigate via the river Amstel to the Red Light District. See the fabulous storehouses en then visit the hidden side of the city. Cruise past the National Maritime Museum and admire the East Indiaman ship dating from the Golden Age and enjoy the exotic Hortus Botanicus.

Captain Eric was a great tour guide. Enjoyed learning about the canals and also personal history regarding Anne Frank. Drinks and snacks were plentiful too. It was an awesome evening on the water.

Fabulous cruise to see the city by boat. Covered and comfortable with an amazing guide. We learned so much history on the tour and my two young boys had room to move on the boat and plenty of snacks.

Great tour of Amsterdam! We took a late afternoon tour in early October and the weather and tempurture were wonderful. The boat was great and the tour guide was very well versed in the sites, history and lore surrounding Amsterdam. This was a great way to see the site of the town in a quick tour without having to walk or ride to all of the sites. The boat provided some food and drinks which was also great. Overall a very relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Such a great experience with Captain Erik! We learned a lot about Amsterdam and it was so beautiful. He made us feel so welcome and provided plenty of refreshments and snacks. Highly recommend! I would definitely do it again if I were to visit again!
