What To Expect
Amsterdam Canal Ring
First we’ll visit the old quarter of the Jordaan. See highlights like the Westertoren and the Anne Frank house, taste the original Amsterdam ‘bitterballen’. We’ll navigate via the river Amstel to the Red Light District. See the fabulous storehouses en then visit the hidden side of the city. Cruise past the National Maritime Museum and admire the East Indiaman ship dating from the Golden Age and enjoy the exotic Hortus Botanicus.

5.00Loved our small cruise with Stan! The weather was cool, but the rain held off. He was very engaging. We loved the beverages, the snacks and the bitterballen (fried potatoes and beef) were a nice addition! We liked the time as we saw some of the cruise in the daylight and some at night.

5.00Such a great, comfortable way to explore the canals of Amsterdam. Captain Erik was a fantastic guide pointing out the major sites, providing history, and sharing his personal stories of the city as well. While the weather was chilly and a little rainy outside, we were able to stay comfortable and dry in the enclosure while still being able to have panoramic views of the city. Highly recommend!

5.00We had a great time! Stan was a great guide and was very knowledgeable and entertaining. It is about a 2 hour ride with nice snacks and beverages. The only thing I would note is that there aren’t many snacks - it’s more of a sampler.

5.00Great tour, knowledgable skipper and guide. The food, drinks, gluwine and snacks were plentiful and great. We had cheese, crackers and bitter balle! The weather was cold and the boat enclosed with blankets. We had s great time!

5.00Capt. Storm was very kind and welcoming. He has a nice boat, really knows how to work that wheel. The way he fits into those tight canal holes are amazing. He provides small charcuterie and various kinds of wine and non alcoholic drinks. He also has some of the best balls in town. When he presented us with his bitterballs it was a great surprise. We just couldn’t get enough. He also gave us some great insights on where to eat/drink after.
