What To Expect
Amsterdam Canal Ring
First we’ll visit the old quarter of the Jordaan. See highlights like the Westertoren and the Anne Frank house, taste the original Amsterdam ‘bitterballen’. We’ll navigate via the river Amstel to the Red Light District. See the fabulous storehouses en then visit the hidden side of the city. Cruise past the National Maritime Museum and admire the East Indiaman ship dating from the Golden Age and enjoy the exotic Hortus Botanicus.

5.00Excellent way to see Amsterdam and have some snacks - much better than the big boats. Cpt Storm was fun. Would have enjoyed a bit more history and explanation of what we were seeing but learned a lot about Dutch people and culture so that was fun.
Captain Erik is the reason!

5.00Captain Erik was the absolute best. Do this Cruise! He was a wealth of information above and beyond a standard tour guide. We learned a lot about the history of Amsterdam from the point of many generations of his family. A true local!

5.00My mom and I throughly enjoyed our evening canal cruise. 7-9 PM was the perfect time to see the canal scenery in both daylight, dusk and dark. Our tour captain was Erik, he was incredibly knowledgeable and even had pictures to show us. I learned so much about Amsterdam. There were 3 groups totaling 8 people. It was chilly on the water because we had the windows open for better pictures. They provided poncho blankets to help keep us warmer. The snacks were very good but Captain Erik and his passion of Amsterdam was even better.

5.00Erik, the captain was outstanding. He was super friendly, extremely knowledgeable and provided continuous interesting facts, including amusing anecdotes throughout our canal trip. There was just 6 tourists on the boat, the small number being ideal. The food and drink provided (10:00 am breakfast time cruise) was limitless and of good quality. We would highly recommend this canal cruise company, Erik in particular. A great experience to explore Amsterdam by boat.

5.00Captain Erik was excellent! Our family of four; (2 teenagers), my husband, and I, thoroughly enjoyed the 2 hours we spent on this tour. Erik's knowledge of his city and its deep (and personal) history was 5 stars. The snacks and drinks were lovely and even though it was a chilly day, we were kept cozy. Thanks Captain for sharing your beautiful city with us.

5.00Captain storm was amazing! It felt like we were going out with friends on a private boat. There was wine and cheese and crackers and all the beer and soda you could drink. There was even some kind of danish, mature drink. He served in shot classes, but was actually a sipping drink.He was prompt, helping everyone aboard making everyone feel comfortable and welcome. He had many, many stories to tell. Halfway through the cruise stopped at a pre-designated restaurants and picked up some “Bitterballen” that we all tried. He lead us through the water ways, telling his tales of all the restaurants, nightlife and experiences of living in Amsterdam and the Amsterdam life. It was a great cruise. If you’re looking for a small intimate cruise, where you can just enjoy the site. Take all the pictures you want. Have a few brewskis and enjoy a beautiful day. Go see Captain storm.
