What To Expect
Amsterdam Canal Ring
First we’ll visit the old quarter of the Jordaan. See highlights like the Westertoren and the Anne Frank house, taste the original Amsterdam ‘bitterballen’. We’ll navigate via the river Amstel to the Red Light District. See the fabulous storehouses en then visit the hidden side of the city. Cruise past the National Maritime Museum and admire the East Indiaman ship dating from the Golden Age and enjoy the exotic Hortus Botanicus.

5.00A great time! Smaller group of 12 with snacks and drinks. Part of the boat was open and part covered but we could remove those if desired. They had pillows and blankets and a great guide. The length was perfect and he had lots of suggestions for food and drink places afterwards.

5.00This was a perfect way to see a lot of the city and gain a ‘feel’ for it. We were only in Amsterdam for a short time and this was a great overview; Stan, our captain and guide, was informative and entertaining; and the snacks and drinks were plenty and a good quality/selection. While my wife and I have been to Amsterdam many times (but still really enjoyed this trip) it was an excellent introduction for our adult son who was here for the first time. An unqualified thumbs up.
