I got a tour from Chacha, who was awesome. His english is very good but not perfect. There were times that it was a challenge to follow, but that doesn't bother me. He can speak multiple languages whereas I can only speak one, so who am I to judge. If that is a crucial aspect for you, it might not be the right fit. That said, as a solo traveler, I was hesitant of spending the extra money but the ability to say, "I'm done here, let's go" or "let me have a few minutes here to shop" and the flexibility to accommodate was great. A lot of the ruins are repetitive / mirrors etc. so I didn't think I'd need as much time as other tours had slated as well. I was right, we ended back to my hotel about 90 minutes early - Chacha commented that I don't spend as much time as other tourists. I recommend for smaller groups or solo travelers looking to be able to adjust the timing and spend the right amount of time per site as suits you. I have taken a few day trips when I am only spending three nights in a city and it does feel like it is a big commitment of time. Trimming 90 minutes back to seeing more of Bangkok was the right fit for me.

We had an amazing experience on our Ancient City Ayutthaya Private Guided Day Tour thanks to Tuk! From start to finish, everything was seamless, informative, and enjoyable. Tuk was incredibly knowledgeable about Ayutthaya’s history and explained everything in a way that was engaging and easy to understand. What really stood out was Tuk’s friendliness, patience, and attention to detail. We never felt rushed, and the day flowed perfectly. It truly felt like exploring with a knowledgeable friend rather than just a guide. Highly recommend this tour, especially with Tuk. Thank you for making our day in Ayutthaya so memorable!

While traveling overseas we never expect others to speak English...unless we specifically book and pay for an English speaking guide. Our guide spoke very little English and it was impossible to understand him or get any meaningful information about this cultural site from him. In the end we asked him to wait for us while we wandered on our own. We still didn't learn anything but at least we didn't have him following us around forcing us to take staged photographs. Informed the tour company of this. We would have appreciated an offer for a partial refund but they did not. They offered basic apologies but that didn't change the fact that they didn't provide the service we paid for.

Our guide Rawat was very knowledgeable and helpful in visiting all of the sites. It was both an excellent cultural experience and education

Rawat and his lovely driver met us in the lobby of our hotel. They were extremely friendly and knowledgable about the history of the city. A ride was comfortable and air-conditioned and they were kind enough to show us a local restaurant for lunch. We invited them to have lunch with us, but they politely declined. Rawat knew all the best places to take photos of my wife and I, which were truly fantastic. Thank you both for a great day.

We had a private tour to Ayutthaya and were disappointed, not by the place, but by our guide Wot. One issue is that it was difficult to understand him because of a strong accent. This could be forgiven, especially since we ourselves are not native English speakers, if he had interesting things to say. But unfortunately that was not the case. He is probably a knowledgeable guy, but what he told us was a relatively small assorted collection of facts delivered in a difficult to follow way, where the lack of a story was exacerbated by constant self-interruptions. At the same time he was very eager to show us the right spots to take pictures, which quickly became somewhat annoying, since this should not be the main role of a guide. Overall we thought afterwards that we would be better off hiring just a private driver for a day. That would cost us less than a half of what we paid, and we would have more freedom to explore the places on our own without missing much in terms of guidance.
