What To Expect

Angkor Wat

You will be picked up from your hotel lobby before sunrise at 4:40 am and continue to the watch the sunrise at one of the world's cultural heritage and the largest temple in the world, Angkor Wat temple as you soak in the breathtaking sunrise. We may spend about 1-hour and 30 minutes to explore the whole entire building of Angkor Wat temple after seeing the sunrise.

Then have short break in the village for a local breakfast that you can enjoy of taste authentic Cambodian breakfast like Khmer noodle soup with traditional desserts like palm cake and steam rice dumplings with palm sugar. Before we continue our temple tour, we take to see an interesting local market and walk in between food stalls to look for the best Cambodian specialties.

Our guide, Mr Kim, made this tour a fantastic experience. He has a great sense of humour and made our time unforgettable with Cambodian legends and history. On top of that he is an amazing photographer! Totally recommend the tour and the guide. 🌹

We had an unforgettable sunrise tour of Angkor Wat with Seila as our guide. He was absolutely fantastic — extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the history and symbolism of each temple. He pointed out so many details we never would have noticed on our own and shared fascinating stories that really brought the ruins to life. Seila also knew all the best spots for photos and offered to take our picture at each stop, helping us capture memories we’ll treasure forever. The driver was very helpful as well, keeping us comfortable throughout the day. We visited several different temple sites, each one incredible in its own way, and enjoyed two delicious local meals along the way. Everything was so well organized from start to finish.

“I had an unforgettable experience at Angkor Wat, thanks to our amazing tour guide Sotin! He was incredibly knowledgeable about the history and culture of the temples, and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and engaging. He was also patient, friendly, and always made sure we were comfortable. One of my favorite moments was when he showed us a hidden spot with almost no tourists—it felt magical. I highly recommend Sotin to anyone visiting Siem Reap. This tour made my trip truly memorable!”

I had an unforgettable experience with Sotin on his sunrise tour of Angkor Wat. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. Our guide was punctual, knowledgeable, and passionate about the history and culture of the temples, which made the whole experience even more enriching. Watching the sun rise over the iconic silhouette of Angkor Wat was absolutely breathtaking — a moment I’ll never forget. The early start was completely worth it, and the small group made it feel personal and special. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Siem Reap — it’s the best way to experience the magic of Angkor at its most peaceful and beautiful.

I booked a private tour with Asean Angkor Guide group to see the Pink Lady Temple and the Khulen Forest Elephant Sanctuary and I am so happy I did so! My guide Mr SA had so much knowledge about the temple, the history of Khmer culture, he was warm, answered so many questions, took photos for me and even took some time out to show me the cashew trees with cashew nuts growing on them! I booked a private air-conditioned car and our driver was safe and met us at each stop with a bottle of cold water and refreshing face towel! The intricate carvings on the temple were well worth the visit and the Elephant Sanctuary was truly humbling to walk among those gentle giants. I would highly recommend booking a private tour of you have only a handful of specific things you would like to see that are located far from the Siem Reap centre. As a solo female traveller it was a very safe and affordable experience.... I will be back! Many thanks Mr Raksa!

From start to finish, this organized tour was amazing. We had airport pickup and drop off for only $10 each and was very prompt. Mr. Raksa was also very helpful in securing our Angkor Passes and explaining the itinerary clearly. The actual tour was simply incredible. Mr. Raman was an excellent tour guide who was very knowledgeable. He spoke very well and kept us engaged the whole time during our tour. On top of that, he is a phenomenal photographer and took stunning photos that very few people can take with a phone camera. Moreover, whenever we traveled, we had complimentary cold towels and water to cool us down. It was a packed, long day but 100% worthwhile and we would do the 1 Day package with Banteay Srei once again with Mr. Raksa Asean’s tour service!
