Day 1: Angkor Wat Sunrise, South Gate Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, Baphuon Temple, Terrace of Elephant, Terrace of Liper King, Ta Promh, Banteay Kdei, Sras Srang. We will take a short drive to Angkor Wat, the most stunning temple in Cambodia and the biggest religious building in the world. Then we will discover many temples in the small circuit of Angkor Archaeological Park. Day2:Kampong Phluk, Roluos Group, We’ll pick you up from your hotel in the morning and head out of town towards the Rolous group, located about 13km from Siem Reap’s Pub Street. It was the first capital of Khmer Empire, Hariharalaya. After, king Jayavarman II established his capital on Mount Kulen in 802, he then moved his capital to Hariharalaya, perhaps for better source of food or for defence purposes. There are some of the earliest khmer-built temples which mark the beginning of classical period of Khmer civilization, dating back to the late 9th century. The Rolous temple group includes Bakong, Lolei, Preah Ko and other small temples. In most buildings of Rolous group, towers were built from bricks, and carved areas such as columns, lintels and decorative niches were made from sandstones. After exploring Angkor Wat, we will continue our trip out of the Angkor archaeological sites to Kampong Phluk, located about 37km from Angkor Wat. Kampong Phluk is another floating village on the Tonle Sap Lake in Siem Reap. You will learn about the local culture and discover the lives of people who live on the water. The hand-made houses are stabilized by a 6-meters stilts to prevent the houses from the floods during the rainy season. In the dry season between December to April, motorbikes can travel through the village. Here, there are clinics, pagodas, schools, restaurants, and churches, etc. Besides visiting the village, we can see the floating forest and wildlife too. This must-see tour will help you to relax while you take it all in. Day3:Preah Khan, Neak Pean, Ta Som, East Mebon, Pre Rup, Banteay Samre, Banteay Srei, Kbal Spean Then, we will go out of Angkor Thom to visit Preah Khan or the “Holy Sword” temple that has a marvelous architecture style from the Khmer Empire.

We had a wonderful experience with Cambodia Golden tours and would highly recommend using them. Our guide was very knowledgeable and informative and he and Vutha were keen to ensure we had the best visit. Having a guide truly enhanced our experience of Angkor Wat and we came away with a much better understanding of the history of these incredible temples. Have already recommended this tour to other friends! They were both really friendly, helpful and happy to adjust our itinerary. The van was air-conditioned and we were provided with plenty of cold water. Vutha was quick to respond to our emails before the tour.

There are hundreds of temples in Siem Reap and if you want to do it by your own, then you will get lost. The internet is quite bad for navigation. Do it the easy way and book a 3 Day tour with Mr Vutha. He is very friendly and very helpfull. He will drive you to the best temples and he knows exactly which temple he has to visit at which time to avoid the mass tourists. He will also show you where to eay cheap and local and he can also tell you some insights about the cambodian life. He drives you to the temples and always wait for you with cold water when you come back from the temple.

We have Mr. Vutha recommended by friends. Unfortunately, he was already fully booked but his colleague offered and three incredible days around Angkor Wat. Communication via Whats app is fast. The driver was always on time. The suggested days are exhausting but you get to see pretty much everything there is in ancient stones, so three days is enough. On the third day you drive a little further outside where you get to see landscape and the people in the countryside. It was also stopped at interesting places to take photos. Not just at the temples. The Service is great. Water is included and is cooled in a box for you on ice. Wet wipes and much more are handed out. You feel very comfortable. Even if our driver is not an official guide, he could give us information in good English in many places. Sometimes he also showed us around to tell us something. Even if it is slightly more expensive than normal tuktuk drivers from us a 100% recommendation

We can only recommend the 3 day tour with Vutha! We contacted him spontaneously and he could only on the first and third day. On the second, a friend of his drove us. They knew how to avoid the big tourist flows and so we had an incredible trip through Angkor. If you want to see many different temples you should definitely take 3 day tour!
