The walk from Dovan to Himalaya is a silent one as big noises are not allowed in the jungle in regard to a temple on the way. Upon reaching Himalaya, clearings appear and glacial rivers are visible along the trail as we ascend to Hinku cave. After a short walk, the trail first drops to the river and then ascends again to reach Deurali that offers exotic views of the valley below.

From Deurali, the trail passes through a river bed, and after a tedious climb, we reach Machhapuchhre Base Camp. Surrounded by mountains on all sides, views of Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, Gangapurna, Himchuli et cetera are very rewarding. The way to ABC is wider with scanty vegetation. As the area is prone to avalanches, caution should be taken on possible dangers. Up from MBC, mountain views unveil to clarity. Annapurna Base Camp gives an awe-inspiring view of the snow-covered mountains including the Annapurna range, Singuchuli, Macchhapuchhre, Tent Peak et cetera.

Fantastic experience with a great company. Everything was so well organised, pick ups/drop offs at airports all on time. We had illness in our team but plans were adjusted without any fuss. A special mention to Krishna, our guide who looked after us so well and always with a smile. Saila too who looked after us when we had to turn back. Can't recommend this company highly enough. Thank you so much.

Everything was organised to perfection by the Green Valley staff including all taxis, jeeps, airport pickups. Krishna our guide was perfect, thinking of everything ahead of it's need. He took care of all 6 of us and also the sherpa team, going above and beyond on many occasions. Especially when some of our team became ill. Saila was also an excellent guide/sherpa when he had to return with me and husband from Dovan. All of this was done with a smile and the utmost courtesy, they were great fun to travel with.

We trekked to Annapurna Base Camp with friends using Green Valley Nepal, who were very professional. The trek was organized by our friends before we all left home and the communication between all of us via email was timely and efficient. The hotels in Kathmandu and Pokhara were very good. The trek itself was a good one, we took our time and stayed in a number of Tea Houses on the way up and down and all were well situated and very comfortable. Krishna our guide and our porters were fabulous and we played a lot of cards with them!

I had a wonderful experience on the Annapurna Circuit Trek! Agan and Dinesh took great care of me, and I especially liked how everything was well organised. All the stays and locations were booked in advanced, so all I had to put one foot in front of the other and enjoy the trek! Unfortunately, I couldn't complete the circuit because of altitude sickness, but Agan was quick to organise logistics to get me back down safely. I would definitely recommend Green Valley Nepal Trek, and I will consider using them again for my next trip.

Highly recommend this company and the Annapurna Base Camp trek. Krishna, our guide, was absolutely professional in every way. Sometimes guide, sometimes caregiver and always the organiser. Always in the right place at the right time. Krishna speaks fluent English and as a local he was perfect for translating anything needed. He's also very knowledgeable and was always happy to answer any questions. Both he and our porters were fabulous. Couldn't fault any of them

Booked a trek with Green Valley on the recommendation from a work colleague. The organisation was first class, as was the trek and the accomodation. A big thank you to Krishna our guide, and our porters who did a sterling job of supporting us all the way up and down. A fantastic experience and highly recommended.

My partner and I have just finished the 'short' ABC hike. We had a fantastic time and the ABC is a really great entry level multi-day Himalayan hike. Every day has slightly different surroundings, starting with villages and terraces, then more of a rainforest, then bamboo forests, before getting into the higher mountain scenery. The mountain peaks that ring the base camp are spectacular. Throw in a couple of beautiful historical sites and you have a hike with a great level of variety. The only real negative we had was that we hadn't realised just how many stairs there would be. It is only really the last part that is consistent mountain trails. The first three days had a really high percentage of the trail being rocky steps of varying quality. In terms of booking with Green Valley, we had a positive experience. Raj in the office provided an excellent contact and he was very swift in replying to emails during the information gathering and booking stages. He was also very accommodating when we wanted to adapt the standard trips on offer. On the hike itself, Om was an excellent guide. He was very enthusiastic and always had a smile on his face. He was very knowledgeable, and adapted his approach when he realised we are quieter and more reserved hikers. It certainly comes across as a very professional operation.

I did the Langtang Valley Trek with Anil & Nada last week, the trek and experience I had was amazing. We hiked up to the summit Kyangyin Ri which was breathtaking the view on the day was bright clear and sunny which we were very lucky to have. (I didn't have the option to choose Langtang on Tripadviser so I picked Annapurna). I plan to go back to Nepal in September and do the Annapurna base camp trek and will definitely be using Green Valley Treks again. Thanks Anil & Nada & hope to see you again.

This was an amazing experience. Everything was great. The communication with Arjun is easy and prompt and they are very flexible in terms of helping you customize the itinerary to your needs. I wanted to update the ABC trek itinerary by shortening the no of days and adding Poon hill to it. They were able to easily do it for me with comfortable pricing. Before starting my trek, I met my guide Tulsi. And Tulsi the man that you are. There was never a dull moment. He quickly realized the kind of hiker I am and adapted to my style. He was very accommodating to my needs. During my dates, there was bad weather on summit day, I spoke to Tulsi and decided to hike longer days and reach the base camp a day earlier. Tulsi was flexible and made it happen. On the way down, he was also adaptable to help me cut down one day. Apart from being a great guide with stories, he is also an amazing companion and a great photographer. Since I was solo, he is responsible for all my great photos. Would highly recommend!!!! Going on another trek with Tulsi and GreenValley again in two weeks.
