  We were picked up from the hotel and then dropped off in some kind of dusty garage area with instructions to "wait here" We waited for 45 minutes completely left in the dark as to what was happening. In that respect it was very disorganised. Another few people joined us and we finally got allocated a horse each and trekked for about an hour and a half. I liked the fact it lasted a good couple of hours so good value for money. What I didn't like was as a beginner, crossing busy main roads in the dark on a horse. The instructors stood and waved the traffic to stop but I was shocked that none of them wore any hi vis clothing while doing so. My horse decided to play up a bit in the middle of crossing the equivalent of a busy dual carriageway and my anxiety went through the roof. However, all in all it was an enjoyable trip.

  Really nice trip through the woods and at the beach. Tour was around 2 hours and my daughter really loved it. The guides really took good care.

  That was my dream. We go in the forest and i can galopp with my horse. The sea was beautiful. The horse was nice and calm. Perfect.

  We’re visiting from the US, and horseback riding was the one activity my 16-year-old sister was most excited to do on this trip. So we booked a ride—and it turned out to be a memorable experience for all of us. I went with my 13-year-old brother, my 16-year-old sister, and four other people—seven of us in total, along with three guides. One of the girls in our group was an experienced rider, which made the rest of us feel a little more reassured. I initially expected it to be a short 5-minute ride with all the horses connected, so I was surprised when we were each given our own horse. We were nervous at first, but the guides assured us the horses were very calm. They positioned themselves at the front, middle, and back to support us the whole way. Before we began, they taught us a few basics—how to stop, turn right and left, and how to encourage the horse to keep moving if it randomly stopped. At one point, my horse wandered off to the left to chew on some plants. I panicked, but one of the guides calmly stood beside me and instructed me to pull the reins to the right—slowly but firmly. That moment really boosted my confidence, and from then on, I felt much more in control even when the horses acted up. My 13-year-old brother also became confident and started riding on his own, with guides positioned in front and in the middle to make sure he was supported. And now—here’s what my 16-year-old sister had to say about the experience, the one she had been looking forward to the most! Her feedback: This was a very memorable and fulfilling experience—especially because I got to check off an activity that’s been sitting on my bucket list for years! The overall experience was very safe and enjoyable. While some of the horses were a little rowdy at first, the guides were incredibly helpful. By following their instructions, we were able to understand the horses better and feel more in control. They worked really hard to make us feel comfortable, taking the time to teach us patience and helping ease our nerves throughout the process. They were very accommodating, especially with me and my younger brother who were having a bit of a hard time, since we were nervous beforehand. They started by leading the horses for us, then gradually let us take over, which helped build our confidence. They took amazing photos of us near the water, giving us beautiful memories to look back on. Highly recommend this to anyone who's been considering horseback riding!
