The tour begins with a short introduction to the history of Utah and its unique natural environment. On the way, you’ll see a changing landscape — mountains on the horizon, wide valleys, and the shimmering surface of the Great Salt Lake. As the sun gets lower and the colors become warmer, even the drive feels like a small adventure, with the panorama of Antelope Island slowly appearing ahead.

Excellent trip. Got to see bison, horned owl, porcupine, and lots of birds. Guide was knowledgeable and fun to go around with. He brought snacks and water but I would recommended you bring additional if you want more of a dinner. Only negative was another person on the tour who was a jerk. She got on the bus complaining and trying to pick a fight with the guide. She then complained about the a/c so it got turned off and we were all hot. She was upset because of the bugs and said the guide should have told her there were bugs on an outdoor tour of animals on an island surrounded by water. Other guests were telling her to be quiet. She also walked right out close to the bison after being told the safety expectations of staying back. She then mocked the driver when he said he was responsible for our safety. Everyone except her enjoyed the tour.

I'm definitely not a nature girl, but all of the views were breathtaking! Dima was so knowledgeable about the history in Utah- he does his best to ensure satisfaction...even when there is a difficult customer!

Where do I begin? Dymtro literally thought of everything to make our trip to Antelope Island a success. 1) The vehicle was very clean and well stocked with snacks, water, phone chargers, tea, coffee- everything. From start to finish he ensured every guest was comfortable. 2) His knowledge of SLC, the LDS community, and the island was incredibly impressive. It was clear his mission was to provide a solid, accurate and very thorough history for guests. He even had an iPad with old photos of areas, important historical figures, and landscapes. 3) Dymtro’s passion for making this a memorable experience came through his smile, his storytelling, and his excitement! I’ve never met a guide who was so well studied, but also so enthusiastic and engaged with his patrons. He offered to take photos too- and he’s a great photographer!!! 4) The value for the money here was incredible. Our tour was over seven hours long and we saw just about every corner of the island. There’s so much history to learn and landscapes to see. And each stop looked and felt different from the others. The itinerary was well thought out! 5

If you have time to take the trip it was worth it! Dima was very friendly and went above and beyond to make it a memorable experience. He knew where to look for the bison and he spotted the pronghorn way off in the distance and got us up close to see them. Fantastic viewpoints along the way for pictures and knowledgeable about the area! A short hike and you will see a spectacular sunset, however it is quite steep. Really enjoyed my trip!

What an awesome tour!!! Dima is an excellent guide and made the day so memorable. The moment he picked you up with a huge smile on his face, you instantly felt welcomed. The van was clean, in good condition and water was at each seat upon arrival. Snacks were available throughout the entire day, and we even had the opportunity for a complimentary hot beverage in the cooler parts of the day. He was very knowledgeable of the area and ensured everyone was comfortable and felt welcomed. I would recommend him to anyone wanting to visit, because he made the experience great! The price of the tour was perfect, no additional fees were added on, and the size of the group was just right.
