Wandering through Antibes' old town and getting lost in time in the narrow cobblestone streets. Checking all the main attractions but also the hidden gems! A must do when coming to Antibes to get to discover this incredible coastal town. The only town on the coast with a real provencal feel and not as crowded as others. The gem of the French Riviera!

Musee PEYNET et du Dessin Humoristique
We have a stop on the National square to talk about all things around including the Peyet Museum and its impact on the city. Great place to go back to if you like humoristic drawing, it works well for kids and "big kids"!
Absinthe Bar
You'll discover here the best roman cellar in town, know the history about the drink and have a little sample of absinthe ;-)

I loved Antibes so much more after the tour. I have been to several places along the French Rivera. It was nice to hear the history and to enjoy the fresh, open air market. We had a stop at the Absinthe Bar and it was interesting and a highlight of the tour. Our tour guide was Jeffrey and he was well informed and patient. We had a lovely lunch afterwards in the center of the city which was a perfect way to end the visit, the food was delicious.

Really disappointing. Usually these walking tours are sone by licals with a passion for the town and many stories. Suzanne was clearly nit from antibes could nit pronounce french words and had nothing to say for most of the time. After 45 minutes i left. She knew less than the guide book and could not answer questions from the group. A real disappointing ripoff

Great overview of the history of Antibes, seeing the streets of the old town, passing the Peynet museum, and Marche Provencal. We also visited an absinthe bar and passed by several local artists residences - we were spotting hidden faces and small sculptures for the next few days! Our guide was knowledgeable and explained everything well to our small group, and showed thoughtful consideration for the artists private residences too.

Our guide Ysa gave us a great overview of the history and culture of Antibes. I learned how Antibes used to be on the boundary of France with what would eventually become Italy. And in more recent history, she talked about some of the artists who came to the area to create their art. We even got to visit an old Absinthe bar and Ysa briefly turned into a mixologist and prepared absinthe samples for us to try.

I had an amazing time and learned so much about Antibes. Ysa was clearly passionate about the town and really brought the history alive with her own research, interpretation and anecdotes.
