This tour offers a leisure walk around Antigua good for orientation or overview. It's an excellent narrative by licenced guide focusing on its cultural interest. This walk allows you to appreciate interesting facts about the most important monuments .You will explore the main square including cathedral (restored part / panoramic views of ruins) , the old university (3rd founded in the continent, City Hall Palace, panoramic views of The General's Captains Palace, Walk the main streets and have some panoramic views of the arch of Saint Catherine. Continue with the church of La Merced, walk to Casa Santo Domingo to end with an optional visit of the famous Jade Museum and factory.

1.00Personally I think 40$ USD is extremely overpriced for the overall experience. Our guide, Roberto, did not give much context, insight or historically accurate explanations. Lots of personal stories, expressive reactions but not much actual information, with some false facts too. I do not recommend.
Great explanation of the culture of the Guatemalan people.

4.00Roberto was very knowledgeable and delivered his information.ation with energy and passion. Thr history and development of the culture of Guatemala was well explained. We walked around and around and when he left us we didnt know where we were in relation to the central.park our meeting place.

3.00Most of these places we could have gone to on our own. The tour guide did provide some historical perspective but added too much of his own history, which was not needed. Did not attend the complete list of places due to poor time management on the guide’s part. Would have liked to go to Casa Domingo and spend more time there.

1.00I booked this trip a long time ago and was looking forward to it. I waited at the appointed place and time and my guide never showed up. The tour operator has also failed to respond to any messages
