Roberto was a great guide. Really informative about Guatemala and its culture and people. He took me to some really beautiful buildings and explained the history and relevance. It would have been good if it included key sights of Antigua, like Cerro de la Cruz and the cathedral ruins but I did these myself afterwards.

I never— and I mean never— write poor reviews, especially when traveling outside of the country. However, we walked away (about an hour early) from our tour with Roberto feeling disappointed and as if much of the content was either fabricated on the spot or incomprehensible. Antigua was beautiful, but ultimately we were sad to have missed the most important spots in the city because of the confusing tour and the history we were recounted. Roberto was undeniably energetic and enthusiastic about the history of his country, but unfortunately would not book again.

Great for your first day to see around Antigua. Our guide was fun, full of energy and very passionate about Mayan culture. It’s a great mix of history and art museums, walks around the city, local food, local shops and more.

Do not take this tour. Our guide did not take us to the places listed in the itinerary. Instead, he showed up (a little buzzed) and took us to kind of random spots giving us very confusing facts about everything but the city. After the first hour, we exclusively were taken to businesses (with which it seemed like he had a deal). Then, out of nowhere, we are taken to a bar. The tour guide got absolutely hammered at this bar. We spent at least 30 minutes there, and he definitely had minimum 3 drinks. After he was full on drunk, the tour really took a turn, but we still had more businesses to visit. A majority of the tour decided to leave before the end because of how derailed it was. He was completely hammered.
