After 43 years operating as Springhill Riding Club, Antigua Equestrian Centre is very excited to carry on the legacy of providing a memorable experience for guests to this beautiful Island at SpringHill Stables. if you are visiting for a few hours or a few weeks this is a once in a lifetime activity not to be missed.
We pride ourselves on our care and love shown to our horses and together with our partners - Antigua & Barbuda Horse Society we are committed, through our riding academy, to training the next generation of Antiguan Superstars and also offer internships and training courses for horse owners and those from other Caribbean Islands to come and learn from our expertly trained and experienced Team.

What To Expect
The ultimate Antiguan equestrian adventure! Ride your noble steed on a short direct trail to our secluded private beach where you will enjoy our unforgettable sea swimming experience with your horse. Feel the unique bond as you and your horse glide through the sea. Safety briefing and life vests provided. Suitable for everyone as we accompany all of our guests on foot with a ratio of 1 team member to every 2 riders. Unforgettable photo moments, during the season we have a perfect vantage point for all the super yachts visiting, ideal for the celeb hunters! Riding Helmets and safety equipment provided and we are fully insured. Our horses are the stars of our stable and we are proud to adhere to all international welfare guidelines. We proudly welcome any guest to our stable for a visit before their ride to meet our stars for themselves.

1.00Very very upset, having booked & paid in full for a ride through this company last October, for our day in Antigua in April, only to find out that they are not now operating. There is no way of contacting them or details of getting the £250 refunded. They were so friendly and helpful when I booked, as this was to be a special anniversary surprise for my wife, who nursed me back to health after a stroke. How do these people sleep at night??

1.00We booked the Antigua Equestrian center in 2025 as we were booked on a. Cruise to arrive Feb 26. Initially there was good communication with the operator asking for 50% of the fee which was paid. Then nothing from them. It wasn't until just before we sailed that the website stated Temporarily closed. I tried e mailing no responses also no answer to phone and WhatsApp calls. Even though a separate number and e mail address was given to contact. All in all we have been robbed of our hard earned money. Stay away from these fraudsters.

5.00We had an amazing experience on our trail ride and swim! The stable and owners are welcoming and made us feel very comfortable the entire time. Three people in our group had little to no riding experience and felt safe and had a very fun time with the trail ride! On the ride you get to experience wooded areas and a nice field leading up to a beautiful view of the ocean and a secluded beach. Would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a fun and relaxing group or couples outing! We will definitely be back!

It’s so lovely to see the horses being properly cared for and Steve & Jane have such passion for them! They are a wonderful couple and couldn’t do enough to make sure we had the best time! 5.00Fantastic experience, with great people who run the place. They could not have been accommodating to our group of three. Their horses are so calm and gentle, and the team knowledgeable and very responsible with their horses and riders / non riders going to enjoy the experience. All in all excellent, and highly recommended.

5.00What a fantastic experience we had on the Caribbean Splash & Swim. My wife and I are complete novices but were extremely well looked after by Richard and Steve who built our confidence immediately and allowed us to have the best time. If you’ve ever considered such an experience then do it, and do it with these guys.
