My partner and I had a wonderful time exploring the towns around antigua with Felix. He was so full of interesting facts and details about each area and was extremely kind. I would gladly go on another tour with him in the future and highly reccomend this tour to anyone looking to learn about Mayan history, local food, coffee, chocolate, and textiles.

We loved this tour. Seeing the villages around Antigua was an amazing and more local experience. I would recommend to others and would definitely do this tour again in the future. Our tour guide Galileo was very nice and friendly.

This was collectively our 4th tour with Erwin, and it is exceptional every single time. Erwin is thoughtful, engaging, fun, and knowledgeable about Guatemalan history. But most importantly, he has a deep sense of Guatemala today, the relevant issues, cultures, towns and locations of interest, etc. When we travel, we are not usually “tour”-type people as we like exploring and learning ourselves going way off the beaten path. But in Erwin’s case, if you want to have a wonderful time, at your own pace, seeing and doing what you want with local, expert support to truly “get” Guatemala, Erwin’s tours are a “must do.” Each trip to Guatemala, this is the best money we spend! An added bonus: Erwin is a “one stop shop” for your visit, and can arrange transports to the airport, recommendations, and arrangements all over the place. Erwin, thank you and we’ll see you in 2023!

Our guide Samuel was rude and it spoiled our tour. There's not much to this tour as they just take you to the 'provincial' town with not much to see or experience. The tour description was so catchy but the experience did not deliver. We were expecting to experience Mayan culture as the tour description says one place to visit is inhabited by 90% Mayas. Not worth the price they charged. Go to Lake Atitlsn or Chichicastenanga if ylu want to experience the Mayan culture.

Erwin is the owner of MB travel and was also our guide. Erwin was amazing. Very knowledgeable, interesting and speaks excellent English. We loved touring the local towns which were less touristy than Antigua. I would highly recommend the tour and all services from MB.

It was an excellent tour, very impressive. Our guide Erwin gave us a lot of interesting information, let us ask many questions and was honest about the real guatemalan life. Amazing villages surround antigua but there often forgotten. We were happy to see these villages so close yet so different from antigua. We really appreciated this off the beaten path tour. The highlights for us: Guatemalan ladies put on traditionnal clothes on us and the wonderful landscapes. It's honestly the best tour we've done in Guatemala.
