On our way to Antwerp, we will make a brief stop at the Atomium, the monument considered as the symbol of Brussels and Belgium. Here you will have the chance to take some photos.
The bus will drop us off at the city bus station.

5.00Had a great tour experience with Antonio, as our tour guide, to Antwerp and Ghent! The tour guide shared so much insight on the cities and the tour was packed with information. Both places were so unique and beautiful cities to visit. Highly recommend this tour!

5.00The tours were about an hour long at each city and they were very informative! Lots of history and stories. We also had a little over an hour to ourselves to explore as well t each place. It was a nice balance. I would have loved a bit more time in Ghent though.

1.00I have taken tours for over 50 years. This was the worst on ever. First, I received a notice that the tour was cancelled on the day of my departure for Brussels. My sister and I were offered another slightly different tour which I immediately accepted and was denied. I then received another option which I accepted but did not receive verification. Upon arrival at my hotel I tried to call Buendia but their phones were out of order. Finally contacted Viator to verify if I was on a tour. We were on a tour which was primarily Spanish speaking. After being dropped off we took a tour of Antwerp but it was difficult to hear the guide unless you were very near to him making it difficult to enjoy and see the surroundings. We were then given time on our own to roam around. Unfortunately, this was not where we were to meet to return to the bus. The only way we knew how to get to the meeting place was to retract our steps on the walking tour. We thought we allowed ample time but without a map or any directions from the guide we took a few false turns and arrived 8 minutes late. No one was in sight. Based on the previous stop and with 2 groups and 2 guides and from other reviews I doubt anyone did a head count. I tried to call Buendia several times so we could take the train to Ghent and meet up there. Their phones were not working. So, we took the train back to Brussels. Again, I made several attempts to call Buendia to find out when and where the bus would return to Brussels so we could pick up some possessions that were left on the bus. The phones were still out of order. Finally, I tried a text. I did get a response, but they gave me the meeting place in Spanish. After a 2nd message the texts stopped working as well. I requested a partial refund as we were back within the 10- minute allotted time allowed. The situation was greatly exacerbated to the total inability to communicate with anyone. My request for any kind of a refund was denied. I then wrote the parent company did not receive the curtesy of a response. I could have accepted being left in Antwerp as we were late, but the utter lack of communication and the tour itself was extremely unsatisfactory.

4.00A comfortable and succinct way to explore 2 of Belgium's major cities in one day. A walking tour in each city spanning 1 hour was included in each city that really brought the unique history of each region to life. They were not scared of being open and honest of terrible truths, which was greatly appreciated. Few recommendations were provided on highlights to explore in our free time or local delicacies/ food we should look out for in each city; a little more guidance in these areas would have been great. But I am very happy with the amount of learning and culture we were able to pick up in 1 day of travelling. The guides were very considerate and the long travel was organised superbly.
Wonderful day trip; two beautiful cities!
