On board Blue Lagoon, a modern and comfortable canoe, enjoy the trampoline over the lagoon for a day trip "Apetahi" around the island of Raiatea.
This tour takes you off the beaten track, to the rhythm of navigation, to discover authentic landscapes between lagoon and ocean, with the possibility to observe dolphins according to the conditions.
Stop at the Nao Nao Coral Garden for a snorkeling session in clear, unspoilt waters, then discover the Marae de Taputapuatea, a major UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The day continues with a peaceful sailing in Faaroa Bay and, weather permitting, along the only navigable river in French Polynesia, surrounded by lush vegetation.

What To Expect
Raiatea
Let's go by the west coast of Raiatea! During our journey, the possibilities of discovery are numerous and are done according to the opportunities with our experienced guide. Indeed, the turquoise or big blue lagoon are all playgrounds and often offer majestic ballets of dolphins. You'll take a lot of eyes! Head south! Sail along the town of Tevaitoa, which has wild bays punctuated by several green cliffs and waterfalls.
Stopover on a paradise motu in the south of the island. There is a real coral garden preserved from the crowds. A magnificent snorkeling awaits you between coral potatoes and multicolored fish.

5.00Very fun day circumnavigating the island on a comfortable outrigger. Chased two different pods of dolphins before stopping to snorkel. Lunch on a beach before stopping at a Marae, then a long ride up the river with an Amazon feel to it. Wonderful day and great guide.

4.00We had some very heavy rain during our trip but the boat captain, Fab, made the best of the situation. The boat was fairly comfortable and we enjoyed the snorkeling and a short trip of the river. There was a stop at an archaeological site but it was hard to learn very much about it from the signs. Lunch was at a small and very charming beachside restaurant. The food was very good.

5.00Well put together around the island hitting the best spots. UNESCO Archeological site, cruise up the river,Snorkeling and a fantastic lunch at a quaint beachfront resort. Saw spinner dolphins put on a fantastic show. Highly recommend this tour.

5.00An amazing day with the owner, Jimmy. Born in Raiatea as his family moved from France. Great English to describe unique things about the island and culture. Our tour was over 7 hours from the cruise ship. Very easy to find the boat. After viewing spinner dolphins off to a secluded island for snorkeling and water time. Then off to lunch at a very nice boutique resort. More time for swimming and snorkeling, then to an archaeological site of a Marae. A Polynesian religious site. The boat is clean. And holds about 14 guests. Lots of fresh fruit and beverages. Highly recommend this tour! Bruce and Caryn

This tour was one of the best we have ever done it started perfectly and just kept getting better , lunch was in a gorgeous location , the boat is luxurious and easy to move around Raiatea has my heart ❤️ it’s a beautiful location!
