Doris and Leonardo were amazing! The cooking experience was so fun and tasty. The meal was delicious and for extra charge you can also get wine/beer. And Doris’s entertainment was spectacular! Would recommend while you are in Salzburg.

Edelweiss’s cooking school is an amazing experience for couples, families or even solo travelers. You learn how to prepare Apple strudel and pretzels and then are served an amazing goulash soup with the fresh pretzel you made as well as the Apfelstrudel! The chef is very detailed oriented and they help you along the way. The space is cool too as it’s built into the Monchesberg so it’s kind of in a cave. The opera singer was amazing and is very talented. She did some solo pieces from Mozarts opera and then did some sing alongs from the Sound of Music! Again - highly recommend this experience!!

I attended with my wife. It was overall a fun experience. We made the strudel, dumplings and pretzel with the guidance provided. Note: the dough for each is premade which made things easier. My only caution is to have realistic expectations on the “dinner”. The only food provided is the dumplings with sauerkraut, pretzel and apple strudel. There is a lot of food to go around however!

Clean and friendly guides. Food was delicious. I loved the strudel. Glasses of wine and beer were offered for 5 Euros. Very reasonable.

We loved this class, it’s very personal and authentic. The class takes place in a very cozy space- it is literally built into the mountain. We were a group of 5 and had the best time and our pretzel and strudel was delicious that we made. The goulash dinner was excellent. This tour was one of our highlights - book it you will not be disappointed!! The owner was wonderful, friendly and engaging.

What a wonderful experience! The chef did a fantastic job in demonstrating the cooking portion (apple strudel and pretzels) and the goulash was great! Would recommend for out of towners looking for a fun activity. We had such a fun experience and enjoyed the fun musical surprise.
