What To Expect
Our AWARD WINNING Sunset & Shipwreck tour is a 2 hour scenic tour focusing on the coastal area between Nelly Bay and Cockle Bay on Magnetic Island. Our destination is the SS "City of Adelaide" shipwreck where her story will be shared as you enjoy the sunset, birdlife and a magical experience you will never forget. Scenery, birdlife, stories, local art and history all in the one beautiful tour.

5.00Aquascene sunset and whales tour turned out to be the experience of a lifetime when we were befriended by a young whale. He swam right up to our boat and spent more than half an hour investigating us. First one side, then diving under us and up the other, bow and stern, port and starboard he rolled and called , showed us his belly and tail. Captain Adam was obviously as entranced as his passengers as he kept us floating in place on what was a gentle swell on a perfect day. The sunset views from the water made the most of Maggie's spectacular rocky bays and a delicious afternoon tea was served. The boat is comfortable and feels safe. Thanks to Captain Adam's expert knowledge, intuition and careful piloting we saw a number of other whales at greater distance, but none on board will ever forget our extended communion with the curious boy from the deep.

5.00I did the sunset whale watching it was amazing.. really enjoyed the dolphins playing and whales with baby calves and great afternoon tea. Sunset was gorgeous. Great photos. Wonderful smooth boat ride and visible for viewing and comfy boat Thanks Adam 🙏 and crew 🙏🐋🐬

5.00Excellent! Had a fantastic Sunset Whale tour today Wow!! Whale stayed with us close & personal for at least 1 hour lots of Muggling, rolling, slapping and tail slapping, I have been on many Whales trips & have never had a Whale encounter like this one would highly recommend. Staff were very inviting, knowledgeable & so friendly

5.00What a wonderful experience. We did the whales and sunset tour. The sunset did not perform but the whales were amazing. We saw 3 different groups of 2 whales. The first 2 - large whales performed fabulously - lots of whale tails and flukes slapping. They played hide and seek, and came close to the boat when we turned the engines off. Saw 2 other groups, including a mother and calf, but they were not as keen to perfom. Visited some of the bays around Magnetic Island on the way back - great rocks and landscape. Nice afternoon tea and good commentry.

4.00The tour was quite bumpy but it was like I was on a fairground ride 😁. The icing on the cake of my stay on Magnetic Island was the encounter with the whales, sooo special and these people know exactly where to look 🔍 Then I saw a tour of the island and parts that I definitely want to visit later! We enjoyed a nice bag of coffee with some treats, all very relaxing! Of course the sunset could not be missed ❤️ Thank you so much to the friendly guidance for this day unforgettable tour! 5.00This was such a lovely way to spend time with friends, and take in some history and spectacular views, while sipping our BYO bubbles. Our host and captain was professional, courteous and knowledgeable, and he really put our safety and comfort first. The wreck of the S.S. City of Adelaide was an incredible sight, especially as the sun was setting. We took so many photos! I managed to get on and off the vessel quite easily, despite having a moon boot and crutches. Seating is on cushioned benches.
