Qal'at al-Bahrain
Bahrain Fort: Thought to be once the centre of power for the ancient Dilmun civilization, Qal'at Al Bahrain (Bahrain Fort) has UNESCO World Heritage status. The Bahrain Fort occupies a strategic military position where the navigation movement could be watched. Excavations have revealed ancient soldier's barracks, horse stables, an ammunition depot, a secret passageway, ceramic utensils and Islamic and Chinese currency coins.
Barbar Temples
Barbar Temple: The Barbar Temples are among the most remarkable architectural survivals of the ancient world without parallel in the region. This archaeological site, located in the North-western village of Barbar in Bahrain, is considered to be part of the Ancient Dilmun culture. The archaeologists found three temples built on top of each other belonging to different eras.

Fahad was an amazing tour guide and provided all the history and background on each spot we visited. The day was unhurried and pleasant, and we enjoyed him very much.

My guide Bhatia was very knowledgeable and kind. She took me to the world heritage listed fort and explained about the Dilmun civilisation. We visited the Dilmun graves and the Barbur temples. As an archaeology lover, I found this tour fascinating since I was unaware about Bahrains ancient past. A further visit to the National museum will allow you to see all the treasures they excavated from these archaeological sites. Well worth the visits.

This is a specialised tour that focuses on the historical places that Bahrain hosts, most of which I had never heard about previously. Very interesting to hear all the details and see the World Heritage Fort, and the Barbur Temple, and Dilmun graves. My lovely guide Bhatia was very knowledgeable and gave a detailed explanation of all the sites, and patiently waited while I took lots of photos. She helped bring the Dilmun civilisation to life. A visit to the Bahrain National Museum is recommended to appreciate the excavated treasures in real life detail.

Angela is AMAZING, and she was so sweet with our boy. Part of the tour was closed for construction, and Angela made sure to compensate for that. She was so easy to talk to, and so very friendly. Definitely a great choice for our stay in Bahrain!

This tour is very good to visit archaeological spots in Bahrain because tour guide and driver were taking and guiding us to our preferred places very flexibly. Tour guide has been staying in Bahrain for a long time, so she could answer to any questions we asked. Thank you so much, Ms. Angela and Mr. Zakrya, you are very good team! The beautiful sunset we saw together beside "The tree of life" will stay forever in our memories.

Short and interesting tour of some of the historical sites in Bahrain. Flexible itinerary so we asked to stop at the oldest mosque in Bahrain and changed the timings so we finished at Bahrain Fort at sunset. Barbar temples were interesting, no one else there, takes 15 mins to go around. The Dilmun burials were in town and we agreed to walk around just one and drive by the rest but you could do more here if you want. The royal burials are more than just mounds and if you go to the National museum you can see examples preserved showing how they were constructed. Bahrain Fort was the biggest site to take in with not only the old Fort but also the remains of the village that the Fort seems to be built on.

We had a great excursion with Farhat Tours today! We covered the fort, the ruins of an old temple, and the royal burial mounds.

I enjoyed learning more about the Dilmun civilization, which existed in Bahrain thousands of years ago. The burial mounds were interesting as well as the other structures that we visited. I found the tour to be unique and informative.

Not a super memorable tour. The Bahrain Fort was closed, so we walked around the outside which was disappointing. Driver and guide didn’t appear interested in the tour, though the guide was knowledgeable and was helpful conveying/contextualizing information at the Bahrain National Museum. The karak chai stop near the end was nice. Overall, just sort of weird lukewarm vibes from this tour tbh.

An excellent driver and a very knowledgeable guide made for a memorable and informative morning about a relatively unknown civilisation.
