Arctic Circle Family Day
This tour includes must-do activities of Lapland: Snowmobiling, Husky sleigh ride, and Ice Fishing.
The first destination is the Husky Farm in the Arctic forest. You will have an experience of husky adventure sleigh ride along the picturesque forest trails. After the ride, go deep into the forest for an exciting activity in the Arctic - Snowmobiling. Drive across the sparkling white landscapes and feel the fresh air of Finnish Lapland.

Please be advised the price is per person - twin driving: means that the person has to share the snowmobile
Children under 12 years old will be seated in the sledge pulled by the snowmobile driven by our guides in front
If the child is taller than 150 cm, they can be seated on the snowmobile paying the adult's price
At least 2 people are required for this tour to take place on weekdays and Saturdays
At least 4 people are required for this tour to take place on Sundays and public holidays
Children under 12 year old must be accompanied by adults paying the full price
Please be ready and wait in your hotel lobby 10 minutes prior to your scheduled pickup time
Please advise any specific dietary requirements at time of booking
Drivers must have valid driving licenses and be at least 18 years old.
Children under 4 years old are not allowed

5.00We visited Santa Claus Village as a family. The guide Mario was very attentive and explained us all curiosities of the place and the house of Santa Claus. Children and older delighted with the explanations and the touch of magic he transmitted to the little ones. A very nice experience for 4 and 6 year olds.

5.00I only have good words for this tour, but the special thing was done by our guide Mirko, always watching that everything was to our liking, that we enjoyed the experience without worrying about anything. We couldn’t make the mini snowmobile excursion because they were damaged, but we were offered several alternatives to compensate. But above all I want to thank Mirko, our guide, for his great work and involvement. I only have good words for this tour, but the special thing was done by our guide Mirko, always watching that everything was to our liking, that we enjoyed the experience without worrying about anything. We couldn’t make the mini snowmobile excursion because they were damaged, but we were offered several alternatives to compensate. 5.00Very nice day with snowmobile to start then discovery of sleigh ride towed by reindeer. Then sleigh ride again but with beautiful Husky dogs. All coached by Gigi super nice and professional Thanks also to Clemence for all these efforts to try to show us the Northern Lights but in vain Finally thank you also to Camille for the snowshoeing trip. She shared her experience in the mountains in the middle of a dream landscape Recommend

5.00It was an amazing experience with Álvaro. The weather conditions were very bad and he was driving carefully. During the tour he had a Lot of patience with us, We like pictures and vídeos of our trips and he was waiting us. We Saw other guides requesting customers to finish the much to come back but Álvaro waited us and told us a place to buy chocolates.

4.00We booked the entire stay organized with this tour operator. The reservation scared me because contact through networks and no bill at the start. But I was very satisfied with the services in general. However, time for each activity is not sufficient. When you're with kids you waste time and 15 minutes of free time. For Santa's village is not enough. 1 hour for the zoo either so you always have to hurry so very rough. The guides are adorable and always in our language. Dgidgi is really the friendliest guide. On the other hand in the booking we had to be taken to the hotel but once there we had to go ourselves to the agency so even if it was not far that is not what we had booked. As a rule I recommend this tour operator which is serious

1.00Having travelled 57 countries to date, Nordic Unique Travels rates as the worst rip-off I have ever experienced. The brochure stated a 5-7km husky sleigh ride, a 30 minute snowmobile ride on a frozen lake, ice fishing gear, a bonfire and we would learn to make smoked salmon. A 8-9 hour excursion, at Euro 288-00 per person. What did we get: a short circular ride of no more than 800 m with the huskies at the husky farm. A 40 minute drive on a bus to the lake. Badly maintained fishing gear, a sausage to grill on the fire and then handed a piece of salmon in tin foil (no teaching us how to smoke salmon), burnt at the bottom and some raw at the top. Then another long ride on the bus to the snowmobiles. Not on a lake, but a very badly maintained, highly corrugated track at night. The snowmobiles were modern and well maintained, but I doubt they will last long on that track. A very disappointing tour and felt totally ripped off. Complaints were not accepted, and the only response was that we may have looked at an old brochure. Yet it was the Arctic Circle Family Day and the price was correct. Absolutely disgusting service. Definitely not recommended.
