As you have your own clothing under the suit you will not get cold even in the open 0-degree water. Lying down in the ice hole between the ice blocks is something worth trying, the circumstances truly are arctic!

5.00The view was spectacular and the atmosphere truly magical. Rabi and Valentina treated us really well and took care of us from start to finish, looking after our safety and remaining at our complete disposal. Highly recommended experience... I still can't believe I did something like this!

4.00Dad & 7 year old daughter (140cm). Very good experience. Minus 5 outside, water was plus 4 degrees (warm apparently!) You really can’t get cold so don’t be put off by the temperatures. Everyone is fighting for that Instagram perfect moment but after your pictures just enjoy the relaxing feeling of being in the water and being lightly squeezed by the suit. My daughters suit leaked slightly and she told me straight away, Patrick our guide was great and changed it immediately no fuss. She went straight back in! Definitely an experience I’m glad we did. Next time… no suits!? Top tips. Sounds obvious but- Don’t get your feet/socks wet in the hut, they’ll be cold all day. And ask for the fire to start before you go in the water.

5.00We had few experiences during our visit in Rovaniemi and this is the best! The children enjoy it a lot, it was fun and different experience. We had our time with no rush, jumping and breaking the ice and of course floating for as much as we could. We recommend this for family with tall enough children (the minimum limit was 120cm), you and your children would love this. Vera the guide was super nice and we enjoy this activity together with her

5.00I had two tours with safartica: ice floating (day) and snowmobile (2h). The tour guide for both tours was Tommy.The tours were brilliant and Tommy made them so fun! He was funny and enthusiastic! I would highly recommend these tours and Tommy!

5.00Perfect experience for the 8 of us. We were a group of 16 people on the tour and we could make the record of 35 minutes floating!! It was the best tour for us over the other five we did. Our guides were Marc and Bárbara, they were really helpful, professional and talkative. In other words, we had a joyful experience thanks to the new experience and safartica team. Thank you! :)

5.00I recommend all activities. No matter what activity you do, you have a good time. The staff is friendly and the treatment personalized. At the level of quality price is reasonable is the market price. I would like to recommend and thank two super girls: Yolanda and Maite, very attentive and concerned for the welfare of the client. 5.00We made this excursion with the Tuor operator Safartica and were very satisfied. The guide, Rachel, was really nice and very good. We were lucky enough to be the only ones on this tour so we could do everything at our own pace. We started from Safartica's office in Rovaniemi and after about 30 minutes by car we reached the frozen lake. After putting on the thermal suits we immersed ourselves in the ice water. It was really relaxing and enjoyable. The water pressure on you is a strange but not unpleasant feeling. The view from the frozen lake was spectacular. At the end of the swim the guide offered us a hot drink inside the same chalet where we wore the thermal suits. We then moved outside in a tent in front of the chalet where we roasted marshmallows on the fire and ate cookies. A really enjoyable experience that I recommend everyone to do

5.00A spectacular experience. Bathing at night in an icy lake surrounded by ice is wonderful. If it snows on top of you as was my case, the experience is unique. Highly recommended.
