What To Expect

Arenal Hanging Bridges

After picking up the travelers we will depart to Mistico Hanging Bridges, the place where we hike. Here we have an incredible forest in which we will walk for 2 miles, crossing 6 suspension bridges with up to 80 meters high and 10 rigid bridges. All these in the forest the tropical rain forest that identifies the area of La Fortuna. Along the way, there will also be a great possibility to learn about the flora and fauna of the area since our professional guide will help you find them. Finally, we will have a rest at the reception viewpoint, where there is a spectacular view of the Arenal Volcano. The walk lasts about two and a half hours to three hours. With transport, it takes a total of four hours to four and a half hours.

We all enjoyed our first tour in Arenal! Jorge was a superb guide and made the trip very interesting and delicious with fresh pineapple and watermelon after. He pointed out an eyelash pit viper, gray sac bats, a three toed sloth before we even left and carried a spotting scope and helped us to take pictures through it with our cell phone! We saw tons of butterflies including a blue morph!! We all enjoyed the tour immensely!! Thank you, Jorge!
