Arlington National Cemetery
A sobering reminder of the realities of war, the Arlington National Cemetery is a beautiful tribute to over 400,000 service members and their families buried there. Learn about the more famous tombs, like that of President John F. Kennedy. Explore a few surprising graves, like that of famed boxer Joe Louis. The cemetery is even home to memorials commemorating the disasters of space shuttles Columbia and Challenger. Along with a few carefully selected residents like Audie Murphy, your guide will take you to the Tomb of the Unknowns where you may even witness a Changing of the Guard ceremony. Walk these hallowed grounds to learn how the home of Robert E. Lee, whose Arlington House we’ll visit, became one of the country’s largest national cemeteries.

My husband and I had the most amazing tour with Amanda H. She was so knowledgeable regarding the history of the site, people, and everything! Super impressive! The length of our tour was just as described and it was worth every second. Amanda was the sweetest tour guide and we’re so lucky we got to meet her. highly recommend this tour!

Our experience was nothing short of amazing. The grounds plate breathtaking but to have a guide like Amanda along side is really put our experience over the top. We’ve been on dozens of tours, in many countries and this was by far the best. Amanda’s knowledge and kindness was something special. I can only hope for such an amazing guide on my next adventure!

Fantastic and insightful tour of Arlington Cemetery with Leigh. We got to see key features of the cemetery, the changing of the guard and learned a great deal about American history. Leigh's stories brought the people and the history to life in a fascinating way.

Maureen was a very knowledgeable guide. She did a great job at sharing history. She guided us to a great spot to watch the changing of the guard. There was even a fly over as we were watching it.
