ArtVo is an immersive art or ‘trick art’ gallery, where you are encouraged to touch the art and become part of the art by taking photographs from designated points on the floors of the gallery.
There are 9 themed zones to explore with over 80 hand painted immersive installations just minutes from Melbourne CBD.
And there’s a new theme - Fantasy - spanning the entire course of the gallery. The Fantasy theme will see people explore the ocean, polar ice caps, space and the forest. Plus, the dreamscape art will see some very exciting interactive experiences.
Getting to ArtVo is easy. Catch the tram- the FREE City Circle (35), 70 or 86 tram- to Waterfront City/Docklands stop D11 or jump in the car and head to The District Docklands East or West multi-level car parks, where parking is easy.

What To Expect
ArtVo
Once arriving at ArtVo, you will receive a short introduction which explains how the gallery works and the best way to capture your Instagram worthy photos! You can spend as long as you like inside ArtVo, but visitors generally require 2 hours to experience the entire gallery. Staff are on hand through the entire journey to provide inspiration with how to pose, to ensure that you are able to take the best possible photos. ArtVo provides the ultimate fun and unique destination, allowing for amazing photos and memories to be had, for all, both young and young at heart. Some favourites include taking a ride in a gondola through a Venetian canal or even getting your own set of angel wings. By posting on Instagram & Facebook using the #artvo_melbourne like thousands of others have done, you will have the opportunity to be reposted onto our Social Media account, to show off your amazing image!

4.00A fun couple of hours exploring the various art scenes and taking photos. The lay out was great and it was easy to figure out how to take the best photo based on the info spots on the floor. The staff were friendly and helped us to take some whole group photos. It was interesting to watch an artist at work who was touching up one of the areas. There was a good variety of photo set ups to explore.

5.00Wonderful Experience and Very Unique.It is quite large so allow for around 2 hours to get right round to do all the photo Activities and Three if with a Bigger Group.Is worth it and takes some Amazing 3D Photos

5.00A fun and interesting experience. The paintings are so well placed and the standing guides are super helpful for the best shot. Additionally you can ask any staff member to come take photos of your group or couple, etc. We took advantage of discounted tickets and stayed about an hour.

5.00ArtVo was a fun experience. There is someone inside who tells what to do. On the floors there are circles which advise which way to hold the camera and how to stand for the best photos. Spent about 1.5 hours there. Highly recommend for a fun time out.
