The tour was pretty good, but we didn't go many places--and there was a lot more talking than walking. Hazel Milton was the guide and he was very nice, but the tour lasted over 2.5 hours, which was way too long. The museum was neat and we did get one nice snack.

We had a great tour with Evy. It was a group of us from the Enchanted Princess The day was perfect with a few sprinkles now and again. Evy was very knowledgeable and personable. She made sure everyone was able to hear her and really gave us a great accounting of Oranjestad and how it came to be. Stopping at a place along the way for a few treats was great also! I would take a tour with Evy anyday!

Our guide Marco was amazing. Turns out our tour was booked for a very rainy day but we decided to move forward anyway. But due to the weather, we had the pleasure of just the two of us being Marco's sole focus! We were delighted with the information he presented and his demeanor throughout the tour. We learned so much, were able to ask many questions and felt he was very well informed. He made our tour one of the highlights of our first visit to Aruba. We would certainly recommend this Walking Tour!

Great experience. Go to the flea market area where it looks run down full of tents and canopys but its the same things as in the stores but you can bargain. You are also supporting the locals however they only take cash. The restaurants are good with amazing views. Go down the side streets too. This is where the cruise ships port so if you can go when they are not in port even better.

I thoroughly enjoyed this experience, led by Evy. She was knowledgeable, personable, and clearly passionate about the info she presented. She was sensitive to the needs of everyone in our group, finding shade and places to sit along the way. It was worth every penny, I enjoyed every minute, and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys learning.

It was a very interesting city tour. We had a guide who was also very informative, both about historic buildings etc. but also contemporary situations and 'way-of-life' in Aruba. Good interaction with our club (6), gave good explanations to questions. We were even treated to 2 tasty local snacks! The distance at the gentle walking pace was doable if you know it will take 2 1/2 hours. The guide wanted to finish the tour nicely despite the fact that it was a bit late (about 30 min) due to the many questions and talks. Also asked if the participants were okay with that or were going to leave the group on their own initiative. This is the kind of volunteer who knows how to captivate you from start to finish and where you feel they are having fun themselves! In short: the walking-city tour was a fun experience!

A lot of things no in a short period of time. Could have spent more time in the museum/church to be able to read the exhibits.

We had the pleasure of having Yvonne take us on our tour of beautiful Oranjestad. She walked us to the historic buildings, churches and neighborhoods. She tries keeping us in the shade as much as possible. She knew all the facts about the area and was able to answer all our questions we thought along the way. She brought us to a local eatery where we could have a pastiche and a croquet and a bottle of Aruba’s own water. Very good and refreshing. I highly recommend this tour if you can walk a few miles.
