Step into Asakusa for a lively, hands-on sushi experience blending culture, skill, and celebration — perfect for families, couples, and friends of all ages.

Create 6–10 pieces, finish with a matcha ceremony, and leave with skills and photos the whole family will treasure.

Beautiful experience in Tokyo, a great way to end the trip, Chef Ken and his assistant Matchi were so welcoming, their studio is 200 meters away from Old Tokyo and temple, the class was amazing we learnt how to make Sushi and Marcha and we learnt about the history behind sushi making and great Sushi facts! We made our own Sushi (10 pieces) and ate it with Saka then made Macha and drank it, we had great time my 14 year old daughter enjoyed it so much as well and my husband who didn’t want to take the class was welcomed to sit and watch and take photos and they were kind enough to offer him drinks, if I’m ever back to Tokyo I’m visiting chef Kim and Matchi indeed. I recommend this experience to everyone, great authentic Chef, typical Japanese place and the best price online! A full 90 minutes of fun! Look no further!

I had no experience making sushi before this class, but Ken made everything so easy and fun to follow. By the end, I was making nigiri and maki that actually looked and tasted great! The location in Asakusa is perfect too. A must-do in Tokyo!

Absolutely incredible experience! It’s an intimate time that our family truly enjoyed and made our trip even better. They do such a great job explaining the history of sushi and taking their time for us to really understand how to make it! Would highly recommend if you want a fun and personal experience to share with your family or friends:)

Ken is an excellent instructor. We came across this class on the day of and booking was very simple. We learned a lot about the history of sushi and how to make it. The class was well-organized and fun. The team provided great conversation about general Japanese culture as well. We even got some special tips on where to find early cherry blossoms in February nearby. I feel confident after this class that i could start making sushi at home.
