Discover birds and enjoy nature without leaving Asunción
The Botanical Gardens contain one of the few remaining tracts of native forest in Asuncion. From its trails, you can see colourful birds such as Plush-crested Jay, Pale-crested Woodpecker, Hooded Tanager, Tropical Parula and three species of Warbler. It's also a good place to find troops of Brown Capuchin, which are quite confident in the presence of humans.

5.00We had such a lovely experience on our bird tour! We explored the botanical gardens and there were tons of birds to see, we spotted some wild macaws, which was pretty exciting for us since we never see that in the US. Our tour guide, Israel, was extremely knowledgeable and kind. Being picked up from our hotel was a lovely bonus. I would highly recommend checking out this tour if you’re in Asunción!

5.00Had a great time with Alberto! So knowledgable and helpful! Highlight of the tour for me was seeing a pair of Roadside Hawks up close thanx to Alberto's phone and speaker setup he used to make hawk noises!
