What To Expect
Acropolis
Our first visit is to the Acropolis and the archaeological site around it. The panoramic view of the capital from the Sacred Rock is unique. On the historical hill, you will have the opportunity to see the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, the Temple of the Athena Nike, the monumental gateway (Propylaea), the Erechtheum and of course the famous Parthenon, the main temple dedicated to the virgin goddess Athena.

5.00Got the hotel pickup option and it was great. Giannis was on time and his van was clean and comfortable, He took us to all the highlights, which was great, but made even better by his flexibility on times at the various places. We ended up spending more time at the Olympic stadium but still made it to the changing of the guard right on time. When he dropped us at the Acropolis for our separate tour, he kept in touch with WhatsApp messages. You don't get the tour commentary, but you'll have fun!

The lunch stop location was also amazing offering great views over Athens and the Acropolis. Highly recommended if you only have a short time in Athens.
