Acropolis Museum
The Acropolis Museum is an archaeological museum focused on the findings of the archaeological site of the Acropolis of Athens. The museum was built to house every artifact found on the rock and on the surrounding slopes, from the Greek Bronze Age to Roman and Byzantine Greece. The Acropolis Museum also lies over the ruins of part of Roman and early Byzantine Athens. The museum was founded in 2003 while the Organization of the Museum was established in 2008. It opened to the public on 20 June 2009. More than 4,250 objects are exhibited over an area of 14,000 square metres.

5.00Michal is very good driver, knows the time it takes to go to places at any given time of the day. Always stops as close to the destination as he can and tries to adjust to the needs of the group. Also can be funny sometimes.

5.00Michael provided an excellent tour of Athens. From the time he picked us up from the hotel in the morning, until he returned us, Michael provided us with a great day. He took us to all the city sights. He was knowledgeable of all the Greek history/ mythology. He is fluent in Engliah and knowledgeable in French and German. Michael has a great sense of humor. I would recommend his company any time.

5.00Michael is the key to a fabulous day touring sites in Athens (& elsewhere as well) !!! His extensive knowledge of Athens and Greek history adds immeasurably to the experience as do the very comfortable and well-stocked large Mercedes vans that he uses to escort you to sites, and if you wish, a fabulous authentic Greek meal in a local family run taverna frequented by Michael and his family. What a joy to have a guide that treats you like family !
