What To Expect
Auckland Harbour Bridge
Standing sentinel across the Waitemata Harbour, the Auckland Harbour Bridge is a crucial piece of infrastructure. Harbour bridge is the only bridge which connects the metropolis of the central business district to the North Shore and beyond to Northland.
North Head Historic Reserve
The location of Maungauika at the entrance to the Waitematā Harbour made it an important coastal defense. It was fears of a Russian invasion in the 1880s that led to the construction of a fort and the three disappearing gun batteries dotted along the maunga (mountain). Norht Head Historic Reserve might be change to Kauri Tree Forrest on afternoon session.

The "other" parts of Auckland

5.00This tour was taken on our last day in Auckland. It started out as a windy rainy day. Thank goodness, the rain stopped but the wind and clouds remained. Regardless of the weather, Sean, our tour guide, was undeterred and gave a great tour. Tour. This is a great way to see other parts of the city and get some great history. This tour takes you outside of the central business district. We loved the different sites and the knowledge that Sean imparted to all of us. If anything, I think my wife and I should have done this trip on the first day we got to Auckland to give us an idea of other places to see for the rest of the time we were here. I would suggest that for people coming to Auckland. It was informative and educational and we enjoyed it. Thanks again to Sean for doing such a great job.

5.00You’ll get four seasons in one day so wear appropriate clothing. Pack a good camera cause the sights are fantastic! Don’t think there are too many questions, they’re all answered with friendliness and knowledge!

4.00Great experience for our short stay in Auckland (we were on a cruise ship). The tour guide was very helpful and in contact before we arrived in Auckland with all the necessary information. We loved the trip to the key parts of the city and were well entertained. Great value for money if you do not have much time in Auckland.

He takes his time to make sure our questions are answered and we are comfortable. He drives so gently. He recommends us places to go and to eat which are very helpful. I would recommend this tour.

5.00Sean was so great! He was very knowledgeable about the city and gave so many interesting facts and answered all the questions. The tour hit spots I never heard about along with mt Eden which is probably on everyone’s list. Another great thing about this tour is that we could drive to the top of mt. Eden so we didn’t have to walk up any of the hills. Overall great day out and would recommend to anyone coming to Aukland!

5.00Bharat of Epic Tours was beyond a tour guide. He was our ‘tour whisperer’ combining his vast knowledge of Auckland’s attractions and distilling it to intimate bits of story telling and historical narratives. Very rare among travel experts. Bharat is charismatic, witty and engaging and if he ever vied to be Mayor of Auckland, he would win hands down.
