What To Expect
Auckland Harbour Bridge
Standing sentinel across the Waitemata Harbour, the Auckland Harbour Bridge is a crucial piece of infrastructure. Harbour bridge is the only bridge which connects the metropolis of the central business district to the North Shore and beyond to Northland.
North Head Historic Reserve
The location of Maungauika at the entrance to the Waitematā Harbour made it an important coastal defense. It was fears of a Russian invasion in the 1880s that led to the construction of a fort and the three disappearing gun batteries dotted along the maunga (mountain).

5.00We were on a cruise and Auckland was one of our ports. We enjoyed the small group tour, (5 of us), and seeing parts of the city we may not have seen otherwise. Our tour guide, Israel, was informative of the various sights we visited and we appreciated the time we were able to spend at each place.

2.00Perhaps Auckland has few highlights but we found the tour disappointing with one hour of driving between two view points either side of the city. Commentary was played from an iPhone and our guide got the story behind the naming of New Zealand wrong. Other guides on other tours have given us more

5.00Gagan was such an awesome tour guide!! It was really special to get taken around and showed the sites as a part of a small group. I especially appreciated that the tour felt very unhurried and we could just take our time, chat, and relax the entire time. I never felt like he was in a hurry or on a tight schedule which helped the vibe of the tour feel just like you're hanging out with your local friend for the day. It was only 4 of us plus Gagan which made it feel very personal. I highly recommend this tour!

5.00Our ship was delayed arriving so our tour guide found another guide to take us on a private tour within the window of time we were at the port. This caused him a lot of extra work and coordination just to get us sorted. Then our guide Israel was most accommodating and flexible to essentially drive us wherever we wanted to go including a town 45 minutes outside of Auckland. We were looking at places outside the normal tourist sites as our interest was in housing for relocation. Israel was very knowledgeable about the various communities, the history and culture of his city which helped us learn a lot in a short amount of time. On top of all this, he was very kind and considerate! We would highly recommend both the tour company and the guides as they clearly care about providing a memorable experience. Don't hesitate to book with them!

5.00We received excellent communication the day before our tour, which set the tone for a smooth experience. On the day itself, we were delighted to discover it was a private tour—what a wonderful surprise! Our guide, Iseral, was both friendly and professional, allowing us to explore each destination at our own pace. Mount Eden was a standout, offering breathtaking 360-degree views of Auckland—absolutely stunning. Although the Cathedral was unfortunately closed, we appreciated the flexibility to be dropped off at the Fish Market, where we enjoyed a delicious lunch to wrap up a fantastic day.
