What To Expect
Auckland Harbour Bridge
Standing sentinel across the Waitemata Harbour, the Auckland Harbour Bridge is a crucial piece of infrastructure. Harbour bridge is the only bridge which connects the metropolis of the central business district to the North Shore and beyond to Northland.
North Head Historic Reserve
The location of Maungauika at the entrance to the Waitematā Harbour made it an important coastal defense. It was fears of a Russian invasion in the 1880s that led to the construction of a fort and the three disappearing gun batteries dotted along the maunga (mountain). Norht Head Historic Reserve might be change to Kauri Tree Forrest on afternoon session.

5.00Sim was our guide and it was a great experience! She contacted us prior with specific info for meeting and it was perfect, and perfectly timed. The tour was informative, the stops wonderful, and the vehicle was perfect for a small tour group....complete with charging ports! We hit some amazing historical and natural sites! This is the perfect way to spend a half day in Aukland!!

2.00Leo was very nice, but he was not a tour guide. I felt like we had to pry information out of him. if we asked him to tell us about what we were going to see, he didn’t say anything about it on the way. He said he would tell us when we all got out of the car to go in. We had to ask where the bathrooms were, and it would’ve been nice if he had offered us some water. Most Tours guides give us plenty of information, but he barely said a word from one point of interest to another. So the five people in the group just talked to one another during the tour. In all my years of using Tripadvisor, I have never given a poor review before. But I think he needs a little more training before this could be called a five star tour.

2.00The tour guide had minimal knowledge about the sites. We were really disappointed in this tour. The guide was a glorified driver.
Just go around in 3-4 hours - covers few essentials of Auckland.

4.00This was a nice small group of 4 in a comfortable car . Our driver and Tour guide ( Gaygon .. sp?) was an excellent driver . He was very nice & was open to going to new places. We were stuck in terrible traffic, but it gave us options to cut out some destinations , but see others. .. it was convenient he picked us up at our hotel and dropped us off there … . Despite the poor weather and bad traffic, we were able to go to the botanical gardens & a few monuments.& parks & the bridge .
