What To Expect
Auckland Harbour Bridge
Standing sentinel across the Waitemata Harbour, the Auckland Harbour Bridge is a crucial piece of infrastructure. Harbour bridge is the only bridge which connects the metropolis of the central business district to the North Shore and beyond to Northland.
North Head Historic Reserve
The location of Maungauika at the entrance to the Waitematā Harbour made it an important coastal defense. It was fears of a Russian invasion in the 1880s that led to the construction of a fort and the three disappearing gun batteries dotted along the maunga (mountain). Norht Head Historic Reserve might be change to Kauri Tree Forrest on afternoon session.

5.00It was a small group tour, myself and a couple from England. Tour guide was professional and friendly from arranging the pick up, driving us to the various locations, providing commentary on the areas we passed by and those we visited. He also assisted with photo taking when my selfie stick failed me. I was solo traveling and initially was skeptical but ended up feeling safe. Auckland, New Zealand is a beautiful place & should be on your bucket list!

5.00The tour was right on point. We only had one full day in Aukland and this tour was a great way to feel like we got the history and views of Auckland that we wanted. Our guide, Sean, was excellent. Mother nature threw a wrench in the schedule and he quickly adjusted the order of the tour to keep us out of the rain in the morning by doing the indoor tours first, which allowed for beautiful late morning vistas without the rain. Sean was wonderfully amiable and provided informative recordings mixed with his own voiceover explaining the local landscapes and history. He was a very safe driver and quite organized. He also was so helpful in providing tips and links to things to do, places to eat and even what to do snd see on our next leg of our trip in Taupo and Rotorua. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see different parts of the city and great photos in a compact time-period.

5.00Sean was communicative and proactive in moving the tour from am to pm to minimize chance of rain. He gave us a choice of alternative destinations when the Cathedral was unexpectedly closed to a leaky roof from the heavy rain. He was knowledgeable and the tour was helpful in setting the tone for our trip!
