Matt did an excellent job as our tour guide and getting us from site to site, ensuring we were comfortable and ready to get the most we could out of the experience. Great full day tour with several choices to suit everyone!

This trip was amazing and I 100% recommend. First, we stoped at a small cafe on the way there to get breakfast. Then we traveled to rotarua. We were taken on a tour of the Māori workshop and then we got to go and see kiwis in an enclosure which was definitely a highlight. We then walked to the geyser and got to watch it erupt. After that we watched a Maori performance which was amazing. Then we were taken to the Polynesian spa, where there was a cafe to get lunch. The spa was amazing, with a variety of different temperature hot pools. Although the bus journey was long, the bus driver was very informative and very interesting, making the journey even more enjoyable.

18.4.25. WOW. The tour was incredible, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Jason our tour guide was very kind and made sure we had the best experience (despite the very wet weather) - even singing happy birthday to the 2 of us on the trip. Very thankful. It was easy enough to do our own things but the comfort of knowing our transport was sorted. Both activities, I believe was a good amount of time. If I could do another tour again, I would! 10/10.

I was initially unsure if this trip would proceed since they contacted me the day before, saying they hadn't met the minimum participant requirement. However, at the last minute, they confirmed it would go ahead as planned. I ended up joining a small group of four others who were visiting a neighboring Māori village, but aside from that, the experience remained the same. Our tour guide, JJ, was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and handled unexpected challenges with ease. The first stop was Te Puia, where I got to see incredible geothermal features like a boiling mud flat and an active geyser. While there, you also have the chance to see kiwis, which I surprisingly didn’t even manage to spot later at the zoo in a separate trip! Next was the Polynesian Spa, and just a heads-up: the description doesn’t specify this, but you’ll be doing the Deluxe Lake Spa, which includes four natural hot springs and a cold plunge bath, all set outdoors with a breathtaking ocean view. I recommend bringing a swimsuit, though I believe they have rentals if needed but towels are provided at no extra cost. (Also, if you bring your own swimsuit, keep in mind that the natural springs contain sulfur, so your suit will have a lingering smell afterward!) Meals aren’t included, and while the rest stops felt a bit rushed, I still managed to grab enough to eat throughout the day. If you're unsure, bringing a small snack might be a good idea. Overall, it was a great experience with unique sights and relaxing moments—definitely worth it!

The Auckland: Te Puia and Polynesian Spa Rotorua Tour is a fantastic experience, offering a great mix of culture and relaxation. At Te Puia, you’ll see geothermal wonders like geysers and mud pools, and learn about Maori traditions. Afterward, the Polynesian Spa provides a perfect way to unwind in its mineral-rich hot pools with beautiful lake views. The tour is made even better by Paul, the friendly and knowledgeable guide. He’s engaging, informative, and ensures everything runs smoothly, making the experience even more enjoyable.

Nice experience at the village and spa. Van drive horrible. Volkswagen van needs to be overhauled or taken to the junkyard

It was a beautiful day! Only thing was the van did not have wifi as advertised. I think I could have done less time at the geyser and more at the spa! The spa was absolutely incredible. Highly recommend taking this tour as it can be hard to get to and from rotorua.

We had the most amazing Tour, our guide Huzefa was brilliant, knowledge, entertaining and really helpful. The Māori village tour was particularly special being surrounded by local, genuine culture and plus the performance was something truly amazing. The best part was ending the day with a spa, that had us feeling relax and serene. I would highly recommend this tour.

Our guide Huzefa was very professional, friendly and efficient. It makes our day tour to Rotorua enjoyable and memorable. I highly recommend this tour as it is both culturally enriching as well as relaxing at the spa, being the best of both world.
