The whole experience take place in the best bar of downtown Cancun, we have prepared for you a very special private tasting room, I will explain to you the most interesting facts about Mezcal making process. After our presentation, you will be able to enjoy 3 different kind of authentic artisanal Mezcal exclusive from this bar, with a set of special snacks and secret delicacies that enhance the flavor of every drink. In this authentic experience, the Mezcalier is going to teach you all the secrets about Mezcal, since the special ancestral production, how to identify good mezcal, to how to drink it in the right way. At the end of the tasting, you can stay in this bar to dance Latin music with the locals, is such fun! A truly exceptional experience - if you want to know about mezcal- its history, how to taste past the initial burn, the differences, and cultural importance- this is a must go! Get off hotel row and experience a more “authentic” part of Mexico. I only wish we had known about Jaguar Journey’s earlier in our trip- I would have asked them to do all of our excursions.

The best experience! Me & my boyfriend joined Axl & Vanessa in their mezcal tasting event. They are both SO nice, knowledgeable, and hospitable. Wow! Axel and Vanessa are offering an amazing cultural experience that is not to be missed. I've done wine and food tastings/tours in other cities, and this is absolutely in my top three. After a couple of days in Cancun staying at a resort, this tour is a breath of fresh air where you know you are really authentically connecting with the place you're visiting. Axel picked us up from our resort and could not have been a kinder host. We loved the location, the food, and most importantly - the mezcal! We learned about Jaguar Journey from Reddit - if you're a Redditor reading this, this is your sign to book it! We will look up Axel and Vanessa on future trips to Cancun for their other tours - thank you!

My girlfriend and I booked the Mezcal tasting with Jaguar Journey and it was one of the best cultural experiences we’ve ever had. Axel and Vanessa were fantastic hosts who made it feel as if we were just hanging out with old friends all night. Axel’s knowledge and passion for Mezcal really shined throughout the tasting and he explained the history of the spirit in a non-pretentious way, which made it so enjoyable. After the tasting, they went above and beyond by offering to take us to a local taco stand where we sampled some delicious street eats with the locals. 10/10 would recommend to anyone visiting Cancun!
