Our guide was not very engaging and at time seemed to struggle. The palace had a better method of seeing this site for less money. She took us to the touristy shopping area. Ugh! There must have been something better to share in this lively town.

Very informative tour with an excellent guide. In addition to touring the Pope’s palace guide Nicola provided an overview of Avignons history and showed us areas of interest. .

Sylvie was a great guide, providing a lot of background on the wonderful architecture of Avignon, with fun details about food, shopping and everyday life. The wine tasting was a nice finishing touch. Highly recommended!
