5.00Very nice way to get to know Avignon and its history. Our guide, Matilde, was well informed on the history of the places we visited. We loved our treat of the glass of wine and assortment of cheeses at the tour’s conclusion. Be advised there is a good deal of walking. Also, if it’s sunny, bring a hat.

5.00There are lots and lots of stairs inside the palace. That needs to be made clear (or maybe I just missed it). But the tour was very interesting, and we learned so much! Adam was a great guide and very helpful to my traveling companion, who was having some difficulty handling the many stairs. His commentary was jammed with interesting information, and he presented it in a very entertaining way.
