The Milford Sound is great, no doubt about this, but what has made it an exceptional experience for us is doing this tour in a small group with Tania: highly enthusiastic and motivated with already more than 700 of these tours on her count. Great and vivid explanations with a sense of humor and everything was perfect. This really made a special day for us in this magnificent environment.

We were picked up by Steve at our accommodation in Te Anau. It was good to be driven to really appreciate the scenery and his commentary was educational and entertaining. We had a few photo stops, a bathroom break and hot drinks and a snack. The boat trip was lovely, the captain was professional and friendly and pointed out fur seals and penguins. His assistant , whose name I forgot (but from the Czech Republic) was kind too and showed me a video of penguins on his phone. The lunch was good and filling. After the boat trip most of the passengers took a walk in the woods but as my partner was on crutches Steve took us to a beautiful river with a paved walk way. 100% recommend this trip, it’s worth the money for the convenience and expertise.

The tour was really cool with a lot of photostopps. We also had a tea break with small cake pieces for everyone at a little creek. Our tour guide Andy was a super nice and funny guy. He explained a lot and answered all of our questions. He clearly knew a lot about the area and new zeland. The boat tour was also incredible. Great and humored crew who helped us take pictures and got us really close to the edge of the Fjords. Amazing tour.

Great full day tour with Jaime who clearly loves his job and where he lives. 100% would recommend full day tour from Te Anau. If we had done the drive on our own we woulda missed out on so many interesting stops along the way without Jaime.

Loved the small bus and boat tour! We had plans to do a helicopter tour, but weather didn’t cooperate and we are SO glad that this tour was available last minute. Our tour guide lives in the area and had great knowledge of the area and its history. Pace of the day was perfect

We had a wonderful time on this day trip. The scenery was spectacular and every moment there was something new to see and experience. The tour was very well run and the day well spaced out. We were never in a rush, but also never waiting around. We feel extremely lucky to have had Tania as our guide, she was very informative and personable. We would recommend this tour to our friends.
