Tanya, our expert guide was so knowlegeable, very entertaining and highly professional. We had a brilliant day. Cant recommend it highly enough. On top of that the lunch provided was delicious. We also welcomed her recommendations for places to eat and shop. Captain Chris also entertaining, and gave us an interesting experience, including a Glacial Facial, for those needing it or wanting it!

Milford Sound Full Day Tour – Fiordland Tours Thank you to Stephen at Fiordland Tours for a truly wonderful day out. He went out of his way to connect with each of the 15 of us on the comfy small bus, and his professional commentary—sprinkled with personal stories—made the journey feel rich, warm, and engaging. We stopped at multiple beautiful locations on both the way to Milford Sound and the return trip, and it was clear he really knew his stuff and genuinely loved his job. The boat cruise was spectacular (even with the skipper’s delightfully bad dad jokes!), and the picnic lunch was fresh, generous, and delicious. I also used the voucher handed out at the end of the tour to visit the local cinema for an incredible 30-minute documentary on Fiordland, which was the perfect way to finish the day. An unforgettable experience from start to finish. 10 out of 10 – highly recommended. 🌿✨🏔️

Our guide sarah was so lovely and educated and told us so many details about the trip that we never would’ve known had we have driven! We also got an awesome packed lunch that we got to enjoy on the boat! Milford sound is an incredible experience that everyone should get to see at least once in their lives!!

Well-organized tour. Andy, our guide, was very knowledgeable and made stops for us at scenic spots. Our cruise was fantastic. The weather was fine and we managed to see dolphins, seals and penguins and also took in the wonderful scenery. Georgie and the captain were very helpful too.

From pick up to drop off, our tour guide was professional, warm, knowledgeable and full of interesting facts about the area, botany, history etc. The stops along the route were plentiful and it was lovely to have great views chosen for us. Great picnic lunch and morning coffee/snack. There were no waits for boats and minibus connections, it was seamless. We even got a 30 minute walk with waterfall views on return journey. Totally recommend, absolute value for money. Personal service, no large coach. You are also told clearly about where the bathroom stops are!

Wonderfulll tour and a lot of fun. I can recommend everyone not to drive to Milford Sound themselves, but take a tour with the bus from Te Anau instead. The bus ride has several stops that are a lot of fun. The drivers give you plenty of information.

we tend to do things our own way but were advised by our hotel to take the tour to Milford if we didn't know the roads/area...it was good advice, the guide Jamie is an amateur ornithologist and would stop and point out rare birds etc, and we saw many attractions we would've driven straight past otherwise...we also had pretty good weather so it was a good day out not only in the mountains on the way but the incredible experience of the boat trip: it really is one of the wonders of the world...10/10 from us...
