Meet the native animals, learn to throw a boomerang and enjoy an authentic Australian BBQ. Yes it includes shrimp ;)

We're driving to The 'Australian Reptile Park.' Where you'll meet Koalas, Kangaroos and more! Included is an ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT BBQ lunch, with accompanying Australian wine (and cheese platter).
With a little boomerang lesson at the end!

The Australian Reptile Park has been on the top of my bucket list for my first visit to Australia, but it’s almost impossible to get there from Sydney without a car. So glad I found out about this tour - not only was it a perfect way to visit the park, but also the whole day was just so special. We had a lovely small group and the whole experience felt very friendly and intimate, relaxed and not rushed. Sean has planned the whole day perfectly, we got to meet a koala, feed kangaroos and see all the other animals and attend fun and informative talks presented by the park keepers. I really appreciated all the conservation efforts done by the park, as well as their anti-venom program that has saved thousands of lives. The bbq lunch with wine was definitely a highlight, Sean has prepared an amazing selection of food, and made sure that everyone’s dietary restrictions and preferences were catered to. The boomerang throwing was fun and educational. Overall an amazing day! I definitely recommend this to any animal lover. Huge thanks to Sean for making my first day in Australia unforgettable.

This excursion was a top highlight of our first trip to Singapore, Bali and Australia! Sean was top notch guide/host/chef who provided meaningful information about Australian wildlife, culture, politics, food etc., etc. His relationship with the reptile park provided us with one on one time with Koalas, kangaroos and he prepared us as good a lunch (with wine😀) as I had the entire week in Sydney. He is extremely personable, knowledgeable and very attentive to making our experience the best it could be. If you are looking for a half day excursion that gives you an authentic Australian wildlife experience with a guide who is a true professional, this tour is it. Worth every penny and I would highly recommend!

Sean went above and beyond what I had hoped for with this tour. He was so genuine & kind - you can tell he puts his heart into every tour. He gave us a lot of information about the animals and allowed us to spend so much time with the Kangaroos & Koalas. The pictures and videos he took throughout the day are amazing! Lunch was so delicious- a real treat. After lunch we had a session to learn how to throw a boomerang- let’s just say everyone else on the tour were better athletes than me. LOL. If you are interested in this tour- do yourself a favor and book it today. It has been a highlight of my trip to Sydney!!!

This was truly one of the best days of our lives that we will remember forever! We booked this for our daughters 8th birthday and as an end of trip treat for us all to enjoy before heading back to the UK. TLDR: It was absolutely amazing! I couldn’t recommend it enough. Sean the host was the most attentive and knowledgeable host who was super easy to chat to and was a font of knowledge about the animals and Australia, cheese, wine… everything! From the starting cafe (which was beautiful) to the scenic drive to the reptile park, the koala experience brought tears to my eyes as a 40 year old woman 😆 just incredible. The kangaroos were so friendly and took food right out of our hands. The bbq lunch was insanely good and the custom drinks to go with it was the loveliest touch. We were so full from all the delicious fresh food cooked right in front of us on the Barbie. Just stunning. The park itself was busy because of the school holidays but that was not a problem and nowhere was ‘too’ busy, we got to see and do everything and loved the variety of wildlife to see. All in all it was one of the best experiences of our lives and one we will never forget. Sean got some amazing photos of us too which was incredible and so kind. I couldn’t recommend this experience more - please book it and enjoy this unique adventure.

Upon reading the tagline, it seemed a little cliché. After reading the description and seeing the reviews we took a chance, and it was worth it. Sean is super passionate and was an amazing host. It was so important to him to deliver a great experience that it really put us at ease that we weren’t just another job to him. If you’re tackling a bucket list trip to Australia this is a great way to see some animals up close, figure out how to throw a boomerang and eat some great food. Thanks again, we will be telling everyone about you! Oh, he also took some awesome pics so we could just be present and enjoy the moment!

I had an amazing time on this experience, made truly special by Sean, who is not only friendly and welcoming but deeply passionate about sharing Australia’s wildlife in a meaningful way. His knowledge of the animals was impressive, and you can tell how much he cares about the sanctuary and its mission. The day felt intentional and immersive. I had close-up moments with koalas and kangaroos, which felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience. As a solo traveller, I'm also so grateful Sean captured beautiful photos throughout! The sanctuary is dedicated to animal preservation, and it shows. The staff are caring, the environment is respectful, and part of Sean’s tour supports their efforts. And then there’s the BBQ, an experience on its own! The boomerang lesson at the end was such a fun touch. Sean has a real gift for creating experiences that feel personal, effortless, and genuinely unforgettable!

CliffsNotes – If you don’t have the attention span to read the whole thing, I’m you. Just know this: the experience was unbelievable, and you’d be doing yourself a disservice not to check it out. I’ll start by saying I’m not usually the type to write reviews—but this experience was too good not to share in the hopes that others get to enjoy it as much as I did. The day began with a casual meet-up at a local café for coffee, a snack, and a quick chat. Sean, our tour guide, took time to get to know each of us, share some history of the area, and outline the day ahead. After about an hour’s drive, we arrived at the wildlife park. From the moment we stepped in, the experience kicked off. We were given food for the kangaroos and, within minutes, were up close with koalas—getting the chance to pat them. The rest of the park was just as exciting: bats, crocodiles, dingoes, snakes, tortoises, wallabies—you name it. But the highlight for me was feeding and interacting with the kangaroos, especially since the joeys were just old enough to peek out of their mothers’ pouches. After a few hours exploring, it was time for lunch—and Sean did not disappoint. He laid out an incredible spread: red, white, and sparkling wines, beer, and a cheeseboard so large it rivaled the height of my 4-year-old niece. And just as we thought we couldn’t eat any more, Sean revealed he’d been cooking a feast behind us—meat patties, chicken kebabs, shrimp, ham, mushrooms, onions…the works. We ate until we couldn’t possibly fit in another bite. With full stomachs, we had some time to explore on our own while Sean cleaned up and prepped the van. Before heading out, we regrouped for one last fun activity: learning how to throw boomerangs (and laughing at our attempts). It’s clear Sean has spent countless hours at the park—his knowledge of the animals, the grounds, and even the staff shines through. More importantly, it’s obvious he puts genuine effort into creating an unforgettable experience and truly loves what he does. And it shows.
