If this is far from your first visit to Rome, this trip is still very worthwhile. The cathedral in Orvieto is simply breathtaking. Bagnoregio is a charming old village and definitely worth a visit. Lunch was nothing special, but the wines were good, and the Brunello di Montalcino was excellent. The hosts were very nice and welcoming. I’d also like to mention our guide, Alberto — pleasant, witty, and a pleasure to spend time with.

Paula was an excellent guide. She provided lots of interesting information not only about our destinations, but also about life in Rome. I would prefer more time both in Orvieto and Civita Bagnoregio.

The tour guide, Antino, was extremely accommodating and full of enthusiasm. It is obvious that he enjoys his job. The driver did an excellent job driving the huge bus on many narrow roads. I would fully recommend this tour with the same crew. I do apologize if I misspelled our guide’s name.

Beautiful tour guided by Francesca. Really loved Bagnoregio. Would have liked more time in Orvieto. We got there very early, which was nice because it wasn’t crowded. However, the cathedral wasn’t open yet. However, we were leaving Bagnoregio when the sun was setting, which was absolutely stunning!!!

Promised to be marvellous but didn’t live up to expectation. Ovieto was lovely but we needed one and a half to 2 hours more. Lunch and wine tasting was tedious; several people asked for a glass or a bottle of wine with lunch but were refused. A short lunch break would be far better. Our guide, Fabrizio, and driver, Antonio were wonderful.

This is a great excursion. The bus is comfy but the drive is long. It is a great way to see both Oriveto and Bagnoreggio, two amazing hilltop towns, in one day. Orvieto’s Christmas Markets are in full swobg. Be prepared to walk a bit!

Sonia was incredible! Full of energy, welcoming, kind and knowledgeable. Luca was a fantastic driver, navigating through the small towns and roads. Made a long journey seem effortless and comfortable. We truly enjoyed Sonia as our guide because she took time to educate us and share with us the history and life of Italy. Can’t recommend her, Luca and the tour enough.

The towns we visited were nice, but we weren’t overly impressed with the lunch or the stop at a giant touristy shopping store. The guide was not very helpful - don’t expect any kind of tour around the towns or anything, just about 60-90 minutes of free time to wander around.
